This is my favorite sabbath song ever and now im an older fella with grown children, and this was a tear jerker for me guys.I know its "cliche'", but god bless the prince of darkness! Ozzy has always been the best in my eyes and what a beautiful young woman Kelly has turned out to be. Could u imagine waking up every day knowing that ozzy was your dad? What an honor that would be. Loved this performance. All u thumbs down haters got some changes u need to go through!

Dude you can’t be a real sabbath fan if you think this is the best, there are plenty of better sabbath songs like every day comes and goes, cornucopia , after forever. Changes is the only soft sabbath song that’s why I don’t like it, it Black Sabbath it’s supposed to be heavy man, not soft melody

@@outdoorvideoswithbrad well i am a sabbath fan from way back and it appealed to me cuz it was different. I love all the heavy stuff but as i was a early teen and going thru my what i would call "EMO" phase(lol), this so g was awesome to me. And now that im older i still love it for the period it got me thru. Honestly, all sabbath song r awesome to me. I was blasting this shit during the 80's & 90's along with slayer, pantera, metallica, and iron maiden. It was super cool to see ozzy turn it into a ballad with his kid.

This song kicks me in my heart, brings tears to my eyes. I'm an older man, in my 60's, but I'd never dreamed I'd have a child in my life, especially a daughter. But a few years ago I was blessed with an amazing daugher. She's 17 now, and soon to go off to college. It's hard losing the little girl sometimes, it's hard to say goodbye, but I welcome the young woman who I love with all my heart. We're going through changes.
@sheryljarvis

yes pops, you are both going through changes, as life demands of us. Ready or Not. Saying goodbye can be one of the hardest things we humans must ever do and the contexts are limitless. You said it best On top of this amazing expression of acceptance and indeed welcoming of your grown daughter. You are now an adult she will meet more and more on adult ground. Neither of you will forget nor ever surrender completely that Dad and wee daughter connection that is both of yours to have, remember and hold throughout the years....

This world will not be the same when Ozzy one day leaves us. I’ve loved him most of my life. He’s still one of my favourite voices and here is 2023 I am so thrilled that the family has a new reality show. Ozzy remarked to Kelly on a recent episode about their number one hit and he was so proud and beaming recalling this song when they made it. Kelly’s voice is just a slightly more feminine version of Ozzy’s. I’d love to hear her do remakes of all the old greats. Love this family.

Truth is Ozzy uses a harmonizer/auto-tune and alot of reverb. Was one of the first to start doing this when he went solo. You can say his voice is strong, but the truth is is it's continually gotten weaker since Black Sabbath with more harmonizer and auto-tune as the years have gone by. But it still sounds good doesn't it? It's funny how people put down auto-tune and harmonization machines but the truth is is they sound great. But don't get it twisted, as he is really not a great singer but has great effects to supplement what he has which is cool but good as stretching it to be quite honest. But don't believe me oh, just look up Ozzy sings Take Me Out to the Ballgame and you can hear his real voice. It's quite a shock actually. With that being said I don't even care though LOL
@morganthus6323
@morganthus6323 4 жыл бұрын
@@vernal6944 Ozzy has never used autotune. It didn't even exist back then. It was invented in 97. In Sabbath he used to use two mics and a delay to create a stereo effect, and as time went on they simply put one mic into two channels with a slight delay to get the effect. In this modern vid it sounds like he may be using some pitch correction or singing with a backing track.

I heard this song when it first came out and I told my daughter that I wanted to dance to it with her on her wedding day as the father daughter dance. I danced with her this passed Saturday 3/16/2019, when she got married, it brought tears to her entire wedding party because it was from their era. But the original is from my era.

Andy Lee, auto tune comes in many styles. In this case it’s acceptable and used in many live performances.. For example the Grammys, where some of the top best, lip sync and auto tune their way through a performance. Where you been, under a rock.
