I think Brandon and his dad are covert narcissists...and used the women (& probably others) in their lives... to indulge their desires for money, power, sex etc. Kelly’s background - both as a victim of parental abandonment as a young child and subsequently with her experiences in an industry that is beyond toxic and abusive/ misogynistic toward women - groomed her for vulnerability to narcissistic deception and abuse. ALSO u can tell by going back thru YEARS of Kelly’s interviews and public appearances that she has the traits of codependency - like extreme conscientiousness and a high tolerance of ppl mistreating her or taking advantage of her, wherein she rationalizes or excuses it or finds the humanity in them etc (even if she’s grown and evolved or healed in the case of developing assertiveness etc and even if she’s harnessed her excessive conscientiousness for good and even though it’s obviously good to find and see the humanity in everyone). Those traits still are there, in the mix, and they made her a desirable target for the right type of exploitation by the right type of person in a position to do so. If Brandon was unfaithful in the marriage at ANY point much less repeatedly as it’s been reported - and if he lied thru his teeth about it at ANY point, much less repeatedly, it only adds to the credibility and weight behind my theory. Narcs only come clean when it benefits them; they can feign contrition or shame or pay lip service about doing better or working on themselves but it’s all just BS... a means to appease their victim or rehumanize them in light of their newly revealed transgressions. And sometimes narcissists use those moments where their culpability is exposed in order to flip the script and lay into the aggrieved party instead, to put the focus/shame/guilt and recrimination on the person they victimized with their lies and violations and deceptions and misdeeds. It’s all tactics. The ONLY persons the narcissistic party cares about are themselves& whoever can help or aid them in getting what they want at any point in time. So in all this, while Kelly is concerned for the welfare of her kids, for Brandon, if any of my theories are true, the kids are just a means to an end. Oh boy do I hope Kelly’s legal team orders psychiatric evals on Brandon and that they put the screws to him about his actions and how he justifies them and how he rationalized them in light of the impact it might have on the kids. His answers to those questions would reveal A LOT. Etc. A really savvy interrogator could expose a LOT of callous disregard and even sinister and self serving malice beneath the surface of a seemingly loving, protective and involved parent. And no matter how unpleasant the truth is, this information is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to have in order to move forward with the knowledge needed to truly protect the kids. by maximizing the culpable parent’s healthy influence and involvement in the children’s lives (if possible) and minimizing the immense dangers posed by that parent and their influence. My heart goes out to Kelly and her kids and I hope she lawyers up to the max and prevails in every aspect of these matters. I pray for the well-being and happiness of her kids as well. From what I can judge Kelly’s immensely strong as a person and her heart is in the right place with protecting her kids and standing up for herself- her boundaries and her happiness. She also has the privilege (albeit a hard earned and richly deserved privilege) of the resources to help protect her and her family from the worst of this fallout. I do hope her legal team is savvy to the implications of dealing with both narcissists and with high conflict people, (see the work of Bill Eddy - a brilliant lawyer who holds credentials in therapy-related fields as well), just in case I am right in my theory and any aspect of those character dynamics are in play here. We love u Kelly. We are rooting for you.

He can go to jail while she falls in love again with someone new and raises their children not to be like him. My ex was terrible. The boys are grown up & one has a baby now. I leave it up to them if they want to have contact with him. I stay in touch with him but we have been apart for 5 years now. I am in a much better place physically, psychologically and financially.
