I know it was in the 90's I just can't remember what year when Reba was in concert a group of us went to go see her. They introduce her and nothing happens then all of a sudden a big ole yellow cab like the ones in NYC comes rolling onto the stage the door opens up and out comes Reba in a long fur coat and she starts singing Fancy and when she gets to the red dress off comes the fur coat and she is in this stunning red dress. The place went wild best opening number from any concert I ever went to.

To me there are people with the gift of voice and then the other is the gift of talent to hone that instrument that they have. Kelly has both. Anyway, in this performance, you know she’s nervous but she still started strong. And then as it progressed, the dynamics kicked-in. Lows, highs, growls and resonant belts. By the time it came to the climax, she’s already shown so much power but she still did it ferociously which made the crowd applause. That’s one of Many products of Kelly’s many gifts. A kick on the door and then snatching wigs by the end, energy rising up until it comes to a full-blown vocal masterclass.
