That’s a line that everyone should relate to - you don’t have to have had an abusive mom or dad or a garbage relationship - my condolences go out to anyone who has had to go through that. Everyone is who they are now because of what they are now because of what happened to them when they were young. What happened to you makes you strong. I love that line of the song in particular. 3 years ago today, because my partner called off our engagement, I tried to take my own life. I was unsuccessful obviously, but coming back from that was almost impossible. And recievd a Grammy nom. Also the track has been featured on an episode of Grey's Anatomy and is in the trailer for the new movie Book Club. Tell me one artist who wouldn't kill for that.
