This is song is better than a lot of the current and old songs playing on the radio in my area. They really went all out on this song. Not sure why people refer to this as soul. I think this is her best pop song and one of the best pop songs ever. It's catchy, high energy, diverse in tempo / attitude but consistent with the lyrics / singing and musical technique. She takes all the maturity of her experience in the industry to produce a superb song. On top of that, the music video is visually stunning and creative. Love the black and white sequence where she's a wearing a hat and lifting her head up and down to sing. Her video producer did right by her. Very small complaint is the blue tunic outfit - a bit underwhelming - would have loved to see her in another beautiful gown. Kudos to Kelly for featuring her 3 back-up singers so prominently in this MV.

I know she's had three no.1 hits in the past and all, but still, she's such an underrated artist. She can sing LITERALLY anything, pop, rock, country, R&B and soul. Her voice is powerful and diverse, and she serves as a wonderful role model for young girls. She doesn't strip down or dance with male models in her videos, she's pure and acts her age. But still, Piece By Piece flopped (btw, it was AMAZING), because people chose to listen to artists with less vocal talent (not hating, just saying Kelly's voice is better than most singers). Please, world, grow up and make Kelly as popular as she used to be, because she slays almost every song she sings, and I'm positive she will keep on slaying. And also, please stop body-shaming her. That just makes you disgusting, because she looks fine just the way she is.
