Kelly Flats Colorado

Took a lap through Kelly Flats off road trail in Colorado with my buddy, Fingers Crossed. Rated one of the tougher Jeep trails on Front Range, Kelly flats has some technical areas but most spots have by passes. Please be respectful of local land owners to keep these trails open

Last Saturday I rode down that heart attack hill on my Tenere 700. It was BRUTALITY. "Rode" is a euphemism for crashed my way down, 3" powdered sugar dirt with tons of loose rock, it was hideous

Was impressed to see bikes going for it. Can't imagine what it was like on a 700!! I love bikes but prefer 4 wheels in that area for sure

Must have a rear locker

I have front and rear lockers. The guy that almost rolled got caught up on his power wheel. That rear passenger on any under cut ledges can get really "torquey". I had a similar situation few years back. If that that rear wheel gets to much traction in a hole and a little heavy on the skinny pedal the front end wants to lift. Not a fun feeling
