Kdubb you're right. You can go see a comedy show and the headliner might be Flat on that night and still get All The Credit in the world. The Known act gets Heat from before. They've got more bits and they've Run Them long enough to distill a flavor to Sell Tickets on the Consistent. The new guy might kill with a tight 15 minutes, but can you do it 15 minutes at a time 1000 times per year for 10 years? Nas said it in "Classic" going Platinum once is only A Start...
