Me..I'm listening..while my heart has been broken in two. Thought I was too old for going through another disappointing relationship..or what I thought was a relationship..(I'm 48 )...and now I'm sitting here on my bed ..and a few tears rolling down my face...and my cat laying down beside me.....and just me thinking what a fool I have been...and trying to figure out how to avoid him when I see him at work in two days. My life literally came crashing down earlier today.. ..and it sucks because I think my 29 year old son heard me sobbing in my bedroom...and today is his B-day,....he doesn't deserve to see his mother like this. He left the kitchen and quietly walked back into his bedroom ...as he gently closed the his door..as if to respect my sobbing. You see..I fell in love with a married man...but he is separated...his wife is in North Carolina and he is here in the desert (Southern California 🌵). I was a total fool for believing that he loved me...and today he said that his wife is coming back from North Carolina. I was basically a distraction for him ...and I was a stupid idiot for believing all the things he told me...all the sweet talk that made me feel loved and cared for. How I wish I could take back time so I can make different decisions. I don't want to go back to work and see him there ..it will literally kill me. Had to call my 84 year long distance....just to hear her voice...a comforting loving sound. As of today..I already applied for a new job...on line...and I have a phone interview on Thursday.. however it's somewhat far from where I live...but I just need a fresh start..and to get away from him...I think it's the best thing I can do for my well being. My occupation title is caregiver...in the noc shift. Wish me luck everyone 🙏
