Not only did they kill it vocally but the acting deserves an Oscar. That was a whole movie in 4mins. Even the video production with the photos. Highly underrated!

Deborah Cox is Canadian, FYI.
@FluffyPancakeNinja Жыл бұрын
Regardless of Deborah Cox's Canadian origin, I want to express my appreciation for recognizing Africans who find themselves in different lands through no choice of their own. 🥹 I understand that some Black individuals, or those who prefer different labels, may not always acknowledge their African heritage. From my perspective, I believe that one's nationality has no bearing on their genetic origins. Whether you were born on a continent or have spent X years on or off it, it doesn't change your genetic origin. It's perplexing that some Black individuals face this issue. I discussed this with my mom, but she didn't quite understand my point. I tried explaining it by saying, "Many Asian people have been in the US since the times of slavery, yet when you need to identify them physically, what do you call them? We call them 'Asian,' right? So why is it different for us? It seems like we are the only people suffering from what I now call 'racialdismorphia.'" In any case, I feel it's important to recognize the rich musical heritage of Black people across the globe. African people exhibit immense talent, love, and soul, and they have created stunning art despite the historical challenges our people have endured and continue to face. Even though we were forcibly taken from our homeland, we have developed new and unique cultures and music styles that serve as a testament to the creativeness and resilience of Black African people.
