There are times when we need to be revived (Revival). There are times when we need to listen and not jump up and shout from a few words. I thought she was well known. I have to check myself as well but its the way we word things that takes us from the Creator to the creature. It looked as though some were touched. Furhtermore, just because a gift and/or talent is not being used within the four walls of the church, that DOES NOT mean the gift is not up-building the kingdom of GOD. To: moosiejac- 1st of all, it IS NOT a sin to drink or sing R&B. If drinking alcohol was a sin Jesus wouldn't have turned water into wine. We must practice temperance in ALL that we do(i.e. too many sweets or red meat could cause sugar diabetes or high blood pressure which is harmful to the body). Also, music is a reflection of a person's feelings or view points. I'm not sayin I agree w/ everything said and done in R&B, but I am sayin that all music other than gospel IS NOT the devil's music!
