He's not competing with her riffs and all that...funny enough when I first watched this, I was like, "naahh...this is not how I wished Cory would accompany her....like Cory is not riffing and running her riffs and runs like I knew he could. As a young musician, am still learning the ways of professionalism and this was it right here. My lesson. Thanks a lot Sean.

I was explaining this to a young musician just a few days ago. Music starts in the soul. He was telling me how he wanted to be able to one day have certain kinds of instruments (very expensive kind) to help his talents. Told him, instruments and musical expression are two but linked things....sometimes. A musician can express their thoughts by tapping on a table or humming. Told him to look up Bobby McFerrin. His whole body was his instrument. He saw some of Bobby McFerrin's stuff and was amazed. Told him that's a man with music in him who is using his voice and his body to express it. He got it.
