Growing up in the cocoa beach area surfing we would often see Kelly out. He was on another level for sure. But always a good person. Humble and just appreciative. He is the 🐐

It would be an outstanding achievement just to compete in the Olympics at 50 years of age, let alone win. I surfed for 40 plus years into my early 50s then the wheels fell off. I will never stop grieving what I have lost.

I really think that Kelly should have the chance to surf for the USA in the Olympics it's not fair that he has fought so hard this year to make it a dream and now John John might come back and surf in the Pipe Masters while being out for so long, I know J.J. is probably the best surfer in the world, but he will have a lot more chances in the future and this will be the last shot for Kelly

This guy is absolutely incredible...but the statement about being the best ever in his genre than all the other greats in their genres...apparently they never heard of Rodney Mullen.
@woodnbikes2 жыл бұрын
Slater is the only athlete in the world at any sport who competes at the highest level year in and year out. Mullen was/is great, invented everything and skateboarding is forever in his debt, but he only competed for about 10 years tops. Kelly has been doing it for over 30 years. And he is still going strong....

So dude picked her up when she was like 18 and he was in his mid thirties. Gotta say that's kinda a weird age gap. I'm 32 and I cant imagine dating a 18-21 year old. Way to young
@fernandomaron874 жыл бұрын
Agreed, i'm 32 and my girlfriend is just a couple of years younger, it's definetly challenging to date girl with such an huge age gap. He also dated Pamela Anderson back in the 90's, when she was 30 and he was in his early 20's or so.

None of it counts when he has a wave pool to practice at 24 hrs a day when everyone else has to wait to surf only on certain days and then fight for for their waves. Kelly`s the biggest con- job in surfing history.
