You can tell Kelly and Ashley spend a lot quality time together. She’s constantly budding in with little comments just about every time Kelly says something. Plus, the fact that Elliot and Annemarie are sitting there listen to them both is great. And I can’t forget about the way Ashley and Kelly look at each other when one another is talking. Man, what a duo.

It would be fun to see the Roommates go visit each of their hometowns. These podcasts have shown such a raw and honest side to your mom's house, and Annemarie really shined through in all of them. She asks insightful and deep questions, listens well, and connects shared experiences with the subject without making it about herself. I can't wait for Annemarie's origin story episode, and I hope that she gets to lead other podcasts in the future!

This provided a surprising peek into what's "behind the curtain" of Kelly Wakasa's personality. The most revealing element for me was the "moral compass" he uses to navigate his decisions. Prior to this, I would have assumed he was somewhat "without a moral rudder" based on some of his antics packed older videos. I was relieved to learn of his respect for commitment, family values, and the innocence of true belief. He is more likable than ever. I'd like to see him transition to short films. With his roommates providing expertise, of course!

Wow this was actually awesome and unexpectedly relate-able! I have been watching Kelly's videos for years and didn't know so much of this. I also grew up where soccer was my life and was my path to college. I even did freestyle soccer and made videos and an instagram posting it all and became known for that to an extent. But I also loved snowboarding and even was into skateboarding until high school when I stopped because I didn't want to be a typical "skater girl" or be part of that crowd, even though everyone I knew in the skating community was for the most part super kind and good people. Not all exactly the same of, but honestly one of the more similar stories I've heard. Makes me feel even more connected to Kelly's content, definitely my favorite creator. Thanks for sharing! I see people complaining about people talking when it’s about someone else, most of the time they try to talk constantly because it’s not etiquette to have long silences in podcasts, you need to fill the gaps since these are filmed without edits and cuts, most probably don’t notice but yeah

Would be cool if Kelly did a video on how he visualizes his videos and what scenes he sees before he writes it down like how Ashley was mentioning he saw a car passing by and thought it would make a nice mask. Agreed in terms of interruption for the podcast. I’m seeing a lot of people say ashley talks too much? i think she’s just an active listener, which i personally prefer because it means they’re putting in effort into understanding the conversation. sometimes by relating it to their own life. i can see how people think it’s a bit intrusive, but i believe its essential to keeping a podcast going bc you need someone to keep the ball rolling yk? i also think its cute and adds a bit of normalcy because that’s how my friends and i talk irl. i think if the others had a problem with it they’d say something. so ur doing fine ashley! great job to the guys too. it’s fun getting to know more about ur backgrounds. Also, girl… annemarie has such a talent for interviewing. Her questions are really insightful and get people thinking. luvs it!

Normally it's not a big deal since podcasts are literally conversations, but the theme of this podcast is Kelly so it's her job to facilitate the theme as a podcaster :)
@Hughjasslol12 жыл бұрын
To be fair Elliot and Anne Marie need to step it up too so Ashley talks less. I feel like they have different interpretations of what they want the podcast to entail. Ashley wants an active conversation, whereas Elliot and Anne Marie want the "guest" (aka Kelly) to be the main speaker and they take a step back.
@languyen07222 жыл бұрын
elliot and anne marie are more introverted. which makes ashley feel the need to speak more or use filler words and conversations like “mmh. yeah. oh. wow really?” which makes it less awkward and i really appreciate her for it. even if the video is about kelly, we all watch the roommates for their bonding and dynamic! we like seeing them together and joking around. this was just a hang with the roommates to ashley. i’m pretty sure elliot was in a bad mood beforehand and things might’ve been tense. i love ashley’s personality, she tries her best to along with them. it makes me so sad to see people being so negative to where ashley has been sharing she’s been in a bad state mentally for the past couple of months. and she’s been stressing out w the roommates. so seeing all this feedback about how annoying she seems or how she doesn’t fit definitely makes things worse. there’s criticism and there’s plain mean. :(
