I LOVE perpetual calendars for giving as gifts and yours is SO ADORABLE, Kelly! The as his for sharing how to make these with the Dollar Tree Jenga blocks! I repurposed one to give as a gift last year for Christmas, but these are so easy to make! Definitely a must for making more Christmas gifts this year!

I really love this!! I am going to make one for one of my clients that I pet/house sit for!! She is a crafter too but does mostly cards and a little scrapbooking. They have a travel trailer that they take with them when they go camping and long road trips, instead of the cow I want to put a little travel trailer on the top to give to her!! She will love it!!! :) Thanks for the DIY!!

I never use calendars, but this sure would come in handy right now. I swear, I can’t keep up with what day it is during this pandemic self-quarantine! Doesn’t help that I have no cell service where I live. Really love this idea. This would be cute for a game room/man cave using large dice for the numbers and decorating with playing cards or poker chips.

Really stinking cute! For sure gonna make this. Also I agree with the other commenter, put something on the bottom and make a little chair. If you leave it plain the “chair” can go in a hamster cage for a little bed and because it is natural wood it is safe for them to chew on.

I can’t believe you made this! I just had the same idea about two weeks ago, and made it almost exactly like you did, with a couple exceptions. I did make my blocks out of the Tumbling Tower blocks, using the same amount of wood pieces as you did, but for my base I used one of the small wood trays from DT, laying on its side with the blocks sitting inside it. The blocks fit in it perfectly, almost; there was a slight gap on either side of the two blocks so I used a jenga block on each side and it all fits exactly! I love these kinds of calendars, and I’m on my second one; it’s going to be made totally different! Thank you for sharing your awesome idea, as usual!

Hi Kelly, just wondered if you have ever heard of hydro dipping? It is kinda like what you use to "marble" things by putting nail polish in water and dipping cups in it. For this you get a bucket or bin with water, use spray paint in any color you like, spray it on the surface of the water then dip glasses or wood in it. We did glasses and mason jars , dip and turn a little to get a different look each time, we used these for plants BT you can use them to hold anything. With all the crafts you make you can " dip" em for a whole new look!
