I think this girl was genuinely nervous. She kept taking deep breaths before every time she had to speak. Some kids are like that especially when they’re in that preteen age. I’m pretty sure she’s never been on tv before. For anyone saying she was uninterested, either don’t have kids or weren’t actually watching.

I agree. And I hear that one of the things that Gronk wanted to do......is to never portray himself as some conceited snob athlete or celebrity. There are a lot of athletes and celebrities who are conceited and have big egos and only like to talk about themselves. Gronk never wanted people to think of him like this, and hence this is why you see him act like he doesn't take himself too seriously and why he instead enjoys propping up other people and helping other people. In the Boston area, Gronkowski is well known for helping out kids with cancer. In fact, in most of Gronkowski's years at the Patriots, he would shave his head in the beginning of the season, to show Solidarity with Kids with cancer. Google "Gronkowski helps kids with cancer' As you said, this guy is down to earth. Amen. It's rare to see a major celebrity like Gronkowski, to be this down to earth.

Wow, really got a different angle from Rob giving of himself and carrying the conversation when complimenting Kelly on her Billboard performance. He is more than a caricature - down to earth and gets intrinsic joy from the energy and fun people give to him. And he makes children and adults think they are special, not just him. So proud of this little girl. I grew up a sports fan in RI too. I remember going to watch my younger brothers hockey practice after my soccer games and whisking I could play. There was no girls league then. I actually was one of two girls who played soccer throughout our youth. A few years in a little girl joined my brothers team and I remember being surprised she was allowed to play. It’s still hard for girls to break into male dominated sports 40 years later but there was never an issue on my soccer teams, nor in my brothers hockey teams. Why are we still holding onto stereotypes and gender rules that make no sense?

In Australia we have AFL football, it's always been a male dominant sport, but recently we now have a women's team playing, and schools all over Australia are getting girls involved too. It's a very rough sport with lots of injuries for elite players and they are paid well. But it is getting so much better for women to be able to perform at an elite level in all sports...As for country girl countrymusiclover, ignore her ridiculous comments, she never reads the full thing, just picks out the basic stuff to criticise. Gronk is the ultimate lovable meathead. He's easily one of the best TEs I've seen in my 50+ years of watching football. Four or six years ago when he was still in his prime, I saw him catch a pass from Brady against Cleveland. I don't recall him making it into the end zone but I do remember three Cleveland players draped over him as he proceeded to go another to yards with them hanging on for dear life. At that moment, he looked less like a football player and more like the human Godzilla trudging through Tokyo.

I used to wrestle when I was in school and I know the bullying that comes with playing a sport that's traditionally filled with males.
