I’m currently in Berlin and just went to see the holocaust memorial. We also visited Auschwitz and Birkenau. That about ripped my heart out. So powerful. All of the shoes and suitcases of those who were killed. As you walk to the camp the names are recited so as to never forget.

This past April before my bday which happens to be after Kelly’s bday that I needed to get my eyes checked before I renewed my license I learned from the doc where I went to said your eye sight can change every 3-6 months! I had my eyes checked last September and got it done again in April!

But now after many seasons and got many emmy, celebrity guest need the kc show to promoted they work, so kc show doesn't need to pay the celeb for them to be willing to come to show?

Maybe the accommodations and travel are covered. Often the guest is plugging a project so that might be a contractual obligation.

Guests on network TV chat shows/music shows etc are NEVER “paid” to be there. There is a very nominal amount that the NETWORK legally has to give them for appearing in a something that is broadcast, as they would be required to give anybody - that amount is ridiculously low, not sure how much it is these days, but it used to be less than $50 - but the show itself won’t pay for guests. However, whether a guest appears on their show depends on how big/popular they are and yes, sometimes on whether they have the resources to accommodate them, which will cost the show money/resources that sometimes in the early days they might not have; so that’s why they would say, “…we couldn’t afford so and so.” But not because they were having to pay them . Remember, this is partly what the whole situation with Monique was about. No guests get paid when they go on shows to promote their projects/books/music/shows, but she felt it was unfair and wanted to be the first person to get paid to do it - if not by the shows, then the producers of the movie she was supposed to be promoting. And we all know how that went…

I love Helen Mirren, but I've seen more than enough movies and documentaries about WWII and no one if forgetting... Not only did they talk about the same one thing when other things happened in that war, other people were damaged not just the Jews, nor just the English and the Americans. But beside that people are forgetting about more recent wars, like the war in Yugoslavia , terrible things done by humanity and consequences of the WWII decisions... Or the everlasting war between Israel and Palestine
