I was lucky enough to get free light therapy at a doctor's office a couple of years back. It was an 8 week process, one day each week, alternating red and blue light. It really helped a lot clearing my skin and the results lasted about 6-8 months. But I think diet has been more effective long term in actually changing my skin. So interesting!

So many great products. My skincare routine is such a relaxing experience. It’s a time that I can just think about nothing. Plus it really does feel good to take care of yourself. One thing that helps me sleep tremendously is my magnesium cream. I apply it to my calves every night. The one I use is from an indie shop called Simply Owl Natural products. She (the owner) offers different essential oil blends that are relaxing. Plus to van customize your own. Thanks so much, love🍃🌸.

Dr Dray says that propolis can be highly allergenic and can cause lots of skin issues...just putting it out there for the more sensitive types. Also, the Olivarrier sounds wonderful...EWG approved ingredients, too. Putting it on my list. Thx for another great vid.

Love your videos Kelly! I take the same approach with my night time routine. Quick question- I’m ready to start retinol but I’m scared of the peeling phase.. does your skin peel forever in retinol or only in the beginning?
@KellyDriscoll5 жыл бұрын
My skin did not personally peel, however it did get very dry and had purging. This process took about 1.5 ish months (keeping in mind I used retinol only 1x a week to get started). There will always be some sort of adjustment phase if you've never tried retinol. Go slow and listen to your skin!

Thanks for sharing - it's made me realise I haven't been using enough toner using GBR too early in my routine. I'm currently using: Rovectin toner/lotion, GBR (& sometimes hada labo hydrating milk), Rovectin oil and a NF moisturizer by The Ordinaty (waiting for Ceramidin cream to arrive)

You're so welcome, Janet, glad it was helpful! I love layering on toner, it just really seems to feed my skin, especially when it's more dehydrated! When in doubt about ordering my products, I always remember to go from thinnest consistency to thickest!

I put my skincare in a food plastic box that has a lid and keep them into the fridge, i feel relax when applying cool skincare on my face but sometimes i wonder if there is anything to concern when all my skincare are keep in the fridge all day 😏 any thoughts?
@KellyDriscoll5 жыл бұрын
I generally don't like to refrigerate skincare since it's formulated to be kept at room temperature and there is a possibility that it could alter the texture or effectiveness of some products/ingredients. Krave Beauty actually has a pretty informative article on their blog about it with do's and don't's for chilled skincare, I'd recommend giving it a read!

Can we use sleeping mask over retinol cream? Thanks
@noreenbowman48844 жыл бұрын
Hi, I just discovered your channel and quickly subscribed! I am "mature" and I use the Cureology tretinoin mix. I am only able to use it every other day. I've recently revisited going back to KBeauty because I love the thoughtful formulas that are available now and it's a lot more gentle way to treat your skin when using actives. I have also been looking for products that are fragrance free and free of essential oils as they have been irritating to my skin. I enjoyed watching your night time skin care routine. Can you recommend products that are very similar to yours that would be good for mature, sensitive and dry skin? I would REALLY appreciate your suggestions. Thank you!

Hey Kelly! I’ve really become a fan of you. I really enjoy your videos and the effort that you put on them. How do you combine chemical exfoliation with the retinol and the other active ingredients?
@KellyDriscoll5 жыл бұрын
Hey Angelo! I haven't done much experimenting with mixing retinol and actives/chemical exfoliation. I have only been using the Klairs vitamin C (5%) on alternating nights that I don't use retinol. I haven't used any other actives. Currently it's M,W,F Retinol and T, TH, SAT, SUN vitamin C at night only.

nisma sharma the best gel cream on market is hada labo and after that i suggest essence and cream from Cosrx hyaluronic acid and snail. All Cosrx products are extremely amazing don't waste your money on Laneige only on lip mask Hada Labo is humectant and has no smell similar to neutrogena for extra dry but neutrogena has smell

You are using the neogen vitamin c powder too right? How do you like the klairs vitamin C serum compared to the neogen C powder?
@KellyDriscoll5 жыл бұрын
The klairs is 5% vitamin C and the neogen is 17%. I haven't used the neogen long enough to compare results but it's a lot stronger than the klairs, definitely a good product for those who have used vitamin C on their skin before!

Hello, happy to see you again. Is klairs oil cleanser suitable for dehydrated oily skin. I wanna try it but before purchasing just wanna get some idea.
@KellyDriscoll5 жыл бұрын
You may not like the klairs oil because it's a little thicker in feel on the face (still rinses clean) but I know some people do not appreciate the "weight" of the oil!
