We love Lake Kissimmee State Park, camped there five times and had a ball. We did stay in that very same Pioneer glamping tent in August of '22 and thought the ambiance was nice but it rained on us non-stop. Since then they built decks to go underneath the tents (there's one for each loop, so two, total) and that means no one's gonna get washed out like we did. I loved this video; I think it's time for us to go back since the improvements there mean we'll definitely stay high-and-dry no matter what happens. Just a tip for you: lighting that cute, lil' propane stove inside the tent is risky. And it's a no-no in the state park system. Better safe than sorry!

Love your adventures, Kelly! Your channel is one of my faves. You inspired me to book a solo trip to 2 Florida state parks this summer. Finally woke up and realized I’m tired of sitting around waiting for “Mr. Right” or a group of friends to travel with. Everyone has so many excuses-gotta work, too tired, too broke, you name it. The time is now! 🌴🥾🥾 Safe travels!

Kelly I want to recommend a KZbin channel called Outdoor Boys. It’s a dad and his boy’s camping all over the world but mostly in Alaska. I’ve seen some of your videos where you are cold at night and he has a great solution. He pours boiling water into a plastic bottle and puts it in his sleeping bag. It will keep you warm at night and you will have water in the morning for coffee that’s not frozen 😊

I hope you are having fun and enjoying yourself. Can't wait for the next video to see what you are up to. Stay well and be safe.

love, Loved, LOVED this adventure, and especially now that you have an ebike ! I got one, too, last year and have fallen in love with it. Am looking forward to riding it on the many rail trails around the nation. Would love to go on an adventure with you on our ebikes, if you'd be interested ! ....... Old railroad beds went in amongst some of the most beautiful areas, including the Virginia Creeper Trail, which crosses the AT............also loved seeing you start the day reading the Bible.....i have been reading it from cover to cover for the last 9 years and am starting on my 10th time reading it through, am in Leviticus now..........it's a good habit to get into...........i got an armadillo hanging around my cabin, as well.........i just leave it be and let it suck up all the grubs under the leaves.....i also heard they carry the leprosy virus.....another reason why i don't mess with it.....glad Fredrick didn't bite cha ! .........keep up the great adventures ! i'm lovin' them all !

From. Flo Native…. Welcome back I never have used any charcoal in my fire pits. I cook on the fire and have learned from many mistakes. Now I’m good at it. Just be patient slow down. The fire will work for you. Also learn to split wood with an ax. Now that you did Kissimmee River State park. Now do Kissimmee Prairie State Park and preserve. You hiked through it. Hike out 3 miles to the primitive camp. You’ll thank me later. It’s very nice. There is a pitcher pump there and it does work.

Enchiladas look bomb!! Just a quick hint from someone who also has been cooking/catering for a long while. If you drop your tortillas in hot oil for a few seconds then set aside to roll your filling your enchiladas will come out soft and not dry also you forgot to add cheese on top haha jk that would be what I’d do!! I’ll have to try your filler though that recipe looks and sounds really good! So thank you lol

While arguing with the armadillo, I was waiting for you to say, ‘ Don’t make me go get Mr. Hayes to come out here!’ Another KZbinr, Slim Potatohead, had an encounter with an armadillo and it bit him it became a medical thing, but it turned out ok. The history of Florida and their cattle “ranching” is very interesting. You might enjoy reading up on that. It is great to see you here again, 9L.

Nice video. Be careful where you charge the bike. They are known to start fires. When using the cable to lock up the bike, weave it through the wheels and the frame. The dutch oven cooking looked sooo good. Get the lid handle for the dutch oven to save your fingers. You need to have a good camp knife, most will have a can opening blade or you can buy a P-38 can opener like we used in the Army. I still have one with my dog tags. Have fun. Good Luck, Rick
