Oh wow, haha, keep at it! I'm glad you're having fun with it. When you bend the top over to match it to the other one and bring the piers down a few mm, try that 👍😁

Don’t apologise for what you feel is over explaining, it is great to have someone actually explain in detail! A lot of people expect you to know every thing already. This is a beautiful piece.
