Girl, I can't tell you how helpful this was. I watched your video for the first time some time ago and ran out to get the bowdabra. I just today had a chance to bust it out and make a bow for my fall wreath. I came right back to watch it again and paused when needed doing exactly what you did. The bow came out awesome. Thanks so very much!!!. I love your channel!!!

What a FABULOUS tutorial!!! Thanks for taking the time to make and post it. My hands are trashed from many years of work and trying to hold, pinch and twist ribbon in my hands is actually painful. This is going to solve that problem very nicely. I also appreciate you showing how to make the last little half loop for the center. I watched a few other videos and they didn't do that last little half loop that I LOVE in the middle of my bows!

Got my Bowdabra yesterday! No hand-tying bows this coming Christmas. I have a few days off in February so I'll use it to practice and perfect what I learned in this tutorial. My Mini Bowdabra is on its way. I stumbled on it looking for the Bowdabra and just loved that tool as well. 😊

Thank you sooo much for this video. I have been trying to make a bow freehand for the past week. I got so upset because I just couldn’t get it right. My sister passed away on October 19th and she was going to be my go to in helping me. The bowdabra is a lifesaver. I just made a bow for my sister that has cardinals on it. It’s not perfect but it looks like an actual bow.

Dear Kelly, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this superb video! Oh, my gosh! I had never heard of the Bowdabra until yesterday when it was mentioned in another video I was watching to try again to learn how to make a ribbon bow! Went right down to the store and bought one and then found your video to learn how to use it and your tips which are so helpful. Just finished a beautiful bow for my seasonal wreath and will be looking forward with anticipation instead of dread to make bows for Christmas packages. Unbelievable to now find something like this after struggling for a few decades (literally) to make a decent bow. Thank you, thank you and many blessings to you.

I looked up this video because I can’t make bows turn out right by myself and saw an auction for a bowdabra on eBay. I wondered if I could use it or if it worked. Your video is great. Makes it look so easy, I know I can do this and since you present it all in a simple, down to earth fashion, I really believe it. You showed the steps clearly and explained them well. I am going to get myself a bowdabra. I wasn’t sure before, since some of these things can be gimmicky, but this seems worth a try. Why not? This looks like a much simpler way to make great looking, uniform appearing bows. Thank you!.

Talk about out of my element!! I'm a woodworking guy of 50+ years and had some requests for the round door hangers with the script words, a bow, and some greenery, so I thought I'd give it a try - I mean, how hard can it be??. The wood part was a snap! I could do that it my sleep. BUT . . . I quickly realized that I AM NOT A BOW GUY!!! The ones I tried to make from videos looked like . . . well . . . they were not good!! I saw this video and everything made perfect sense! It was off to the craft store to get a Bowdabra, more ribbon to replace what I messed up in my other attempts, and a bag of confidence. Your video was great! You explain it so that even a woodworking guy can understand it, and not be intimidated by it! I don't expect to open up a "bow business" but with your help I can now deliver one of my door hangers and enjoy the "Wow" I get from the customers. Thank you! Oh yea . . . if you would take some 1" x 2" strips of wood and attach them to the wall, and then mount your spice racks to the strips, you'll have plenty of room for your larger rolls of ribbon. Hey . . . Maybe I could do a video!!!! Nah! I've been told I have a face for radio! Thanks again!

I stopped in Burleson a few weeks ago to eat at Babe's and was blown away by how cute the town is!! It's such a charming little downtown. You're only about 40 minutes from me I think.
@jerrystringer40233 жыл бұрын
@@UnderATexasSky The Babe's here is outstanding and the owners are great people! If I can help with the door hangers let me know . . . but I do it a little differently. After the wood is sanded, stained, and clear coated, I cover it with a wide transfer tape (kinda like masking tape). I set my laser to cut only the outline of the lettering, and just deep enough to only cut through the tape. In effect, I make a painting stencil on the surface of the hanger. I pull the tape off where the lettering goes and spray paint it. When dry I pull the rest of the tape off and "Voila" the lettering is done. It's very quick and the edge of the lettering is perfect every time.

You've saved my Christmas party! I got a bowdabra and after 3 hours of struggle with that ridiculously b.s. "how to use this" manual, I nearly threw the lot in the garbage lol. Thank you so so much!

@@UnderATexasSky I'm glad I'm not the only one! I feel like they made that manual as a joke or something lol, because it was definitely not written to be informative. I don't know if KZbin allows pictures, but if it'll let me I'll post one as soon as I'm all finished with them!!

James- It's a great tool for those of us who can't seem to get a hand tied bow right. I like the flexibility of being able to add different ribbons together without having to handle the bow and the rolls of ribbon. It's not for everyone though.
