Those guys are an absolute blast to watch live. Saw them opening for Nightwish at the end of last year and they completely stole the show. Saw them headlining 2 months later and they were even better and parts of the show felt kinda like in a football stadium of the Liverpool or Dortmund kind. Also Yannis, the vocalist is an absolute force of nature.

The singer is from Greece my country and Thessaloniki my city. Giannis Papadopoulos incredible singer. Yous should listen his prevous band Wardrum the name from Thessaloniki. And also he sings in a Greek epic power band Warrior Path. Yoy can check it They are fantastic!

Band is basically the revenge fantasy of Anton. He created Battle Beast and then they fired him when they wanted to go more mainstream, so now he does it better. Most of his songs reference either the anime "Berserk" or the breakup of Battle Beast. The lead singer in Battle Beast was female, hence the breakup references and the feminine style of vocals. The singer, Yannis Papodopoulos, has excellent range and routinely does covers on his channel, including "Ghost Love Score". You should try "Sweet True Lies" and "Oceandeep".

OMG!! you FINALLY did Beast in Black. The song you did is off of their 2nd album 'From Hell with Love'. You guys absolutely NEED to check out their song Blind and Frozen. I've seen them live three times in less than a year and after few weeks will be the fourth🤘, so I guess I have to admit that I like these guys😌.. and Yannis is definetily one of the most interesting male- metal-singers at the moment! Blind and frozen is another great track along with the song born again in fact they have not done a bad song. I'm a huge power metal fan, and this band just forced itself into my top list immediately when I first heard their debut album. I rate these guys almost as highly as the likes of Kamelot, Blind Guardian and Sonata Arctica. We need more music like this!

I don´t think anyone would take offence at 08:55, if my memory serves me correct, the main songwriter (the guy who played the first solo on a Jackson guitar) Anton said that he wanted this album to be very 80s influenced by bands like W.A.S.P , Iron maiden etc but with a modern sound to it, so that is exactly what you guys described. Never thought I'd hear that name ever again.... their sole album was one of a bunch of CDs I picked up at my local music dealer when I caught up on industrial (metal) / metal machine music all over the genre from NIN to Die Krupps. :)

"Unholy Savior" and "Battle Beast" albums are insane. Noora Louhimo have a killer voice between Dio and Blackie Lawless with high notes like Judas priest.

Hey guys. Since you enjoyed the vocals I strongly recommend to check Yannis Papadopoulos' previous band WARDRUM. "Travel far away", "Sometimes" "After forever" and "Lady Jane Grey" are some songs to check out. Their guitarist Kosta Vreto is also extremely good and is playing without a pick. Yannis is the best vocalist in Greece right now and Wardrum on the top three power metal bands in the country.

A total blanket black out of anyone doing react videos or similar type will destroy the music industry, although the music record companies monopolize and want every penny the artists themselves want as much promotion as possible. BEAST IN BLACK would be extremely happy to see you reviewing their music. Beast in black have upcoming tours with GLORYHAMMER and I'm 100% sure that it is more beneficial for them to have as much exposure and promotion so fans can go to their gigs. Established bands should BOYCOTT the record label companies.

Please Ben do NOT apologize for your comment about sounding like the 80's none of us that love Beast in Black take that as an insult basically because that IS THE POINT of Beast in Black it's ALL the 80's cheese wrapping a superbly talented singer and band. To add to the nerd factor their entire band is based around a dark fantasy manga called Berserk (do NOT LET your CHILDREN read it) that is immaculate art unto itself the band name comes from a central figure in the manga and the mass majority of their songs are directly related to the manga. Their singer Yannis Papadopoulos is actually Greek and he has a youtube channel where he does all kinds of covers. As you can plainly see he is a killer singer. Now if you want an even better song to show his range do Blind and Frozen next (have to do the official music video though) if you want to go in the direction of power ballad you HAVE to do Oceandeep its is 80's power metal ballads PERFECTED imho
