While it is nice to call an insurance broker independent, it might also suggest that he/she has access to instruments/products with the highest commission. The best is to equip with basic knowledge of what you need to know and just buy what you need. IBF does have modules that individuals can study and sign up.

Pure BS, lots of agents still like to sell ILP. And don't have to think too much about ILP just stop it! You are losing more in fees instead of just doing RSP to a low cost ETF.

Although i agree with the first insurance - health or medical/hospitalization, Insurance as a wealth accumulation vehicle? such a thing can only be said by consultans 🙊 + insurances are for financial risk mitigation / sharing of risk - thus insuring to cover for $2K (accident in the video) is a bit funny as an example
