I still have my brand names. I haven't bought chinese branded clippers since covid. The quality of those clippers just wasnt there for me at that time. But I recently bought quite a few of these kemeis and vgrs and for sure they surpass anything Wahl. A lot of people say that they surpassed andis and babyliss and that is a valid argument as well.

@ it is definitely hit or miss but some of these machines are definitely on the same level as the big brands the tech has come a long way.

I have both of the kemei and vgr. If this kemei just had the shape of the vgr (like a t outliner) I'm telling you this would be the ultimate clipper. Detachable blade for one zero gapped and the other not ,variable speed powerful motor . Oh man you would only need one clipper for all around use. I mean these are already better than the majority brand names which i own also. These kemei demolish the andis revite.

You are 100% correct if it had better ergonomics and a slight more robust feel this machine would be a TOP contender amongst “ big brands” but non the less it’s an amazing machine

Lets keep it a buck....were getting machines with features we never knew we needed for oftentimes a fraction of the cost...now that they've improved their blade systems im dumping all stock in big brands

Definitely the machines are feature rich for super cheap these days . But throwing everything into big brands because they put some effort into blades. Idk if i could do that because I believe they are over priced and lacking features. This past year I’ve had better “luck” with “small brands” and had the worst luck I’ve ever had with the big brands that i spent big bucks on at the beginning of the year. I’ve seen one that got 10000 rpm from kemei and it’s look pretty same as this one comes in blue and black I think I’ll go on that

I personally like it better than the 1858 The battery life is insanely long .. same speed.. heat really isn’t and issue unless you run it high speed for a long time but that’s normal for any machine.. price is very similar but the 1858 doesn’t come. With two quick release swappable blades

Nice review my man. Have you tried corded oster fast feeds at all? What's your opinion?

Those are throw backs they are great I have them somewhere stored in the house I’ve been cutting 20 years I had no choice but to start and work with corded clippers for years but I will never go back to a cord no matter how good they cut… the thing I didn’t like about the fast feeds is the guard system .. the purple Andis magnet guards work with them but I don’t like them I like guards similar to the wahl premiums

I’ve been using the VGR -003 and the Kemei 2293 for almost a year now no issues. I’m currently using the VGR-001 and I’m loving it it’s been a couple months and still running strong. Best is going to be very nuance because it’s based on preference for many reason from barber to barber. Also price doesn’t always mean quality. I just posted a few minutes ago a video on the VGR-001 check it out you might like it. 🦾🚌💈

thanks for the vid, you say dont like vgr269 and kemei 1763 because the blade. This has the same style of fade blade isn't (apart taper blade) how is the cut out the box with the fade blade and comparing vgr 269 (km 1763) thanks

Sorry I won’t be doing cutting videos because on video I can make any clipper look like it cuts well because it will on give you one example on one hair type .. I put each machine through a minimum 100 haircuts so I know how well it performs in every senerio before I make a video .. I could easily make every clipper cut well on video and have people buying to make money off amazon or AliExpress but I’m not here for that.
