CORRECTION: At 25:42 I mention a four unit limit for a troop, but it's actually a limit of five units per troop as stated earlier. NOTE: If you have the Divine Will Power tile then when placing a regular action token, you may also place the gold token at the top of the pyramid to take either a bonus move or recruit action.

We usually go ahead and place the VP tokens on the tiles that would grant them to you (Sphinx and three others) at the beginning of the game. Minor house rule but it also seems to make those tiles more desired when the points are sitting on then 😜

This video is really great. I bought the game based on your how to play and watching you and your son play. Thanks for doing such a great job. I want to point out that at 24:20 when you describe Divine Will, I think your explanation is unclear. You have to place the gold marker at the top of the pyramid in a special place giving you an extra move or recruit. Using this token is a way to get an extra recruit or move.
@clintmeyer10 жыл бұрын
***** I think you have it wrong. The gold token goes on the VERY top of the player board that has the matching gold icon. It is above the move and recruit spaces. Only the gold Divine Will token can go there. It allows an extra move or recruit. Stated differently a player who possesses the Divine Will power tile can move up to 3x in a round (or turn if he has Act of God as well), or recruit 2X. The Divine Will power is an extra Unique Move or Recruit. This is confusing in the main rules, but is clarified in the official FAQ on BGG. Checkout rule 8.1 boardgamegeek.com/thread/961339/kemet-official-faq
@WatchItPlayed10 жыл бұрын

You'll want to check this part of the video as it explains it in detail: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqPZgoqubJyVZqMm35s In short though, you don't spend prayer points to move. You take the Move Action. Lol If you can't understand what I want to ask you a question. I'm sorry about that, My mother tongue is north korean and I'm not good at English.
@WatchItPlayed4 жыл бұрын
Your English is very good, and learning a new language is VERY challenging, so be proud of what you've learned so far and keep going! Your questions is more about strategy than rules (I tend to stick to just rules), but you may want to get to an empty space to attack an army that is nearby that could be a threat to a temple you are trying to hold onto?

Love your videos! Question: Say I have a level 1 red pyramid and I also have the priestess tile. Would the priestess allow me to purchase level 2 tiles?
@WatchItPlayed7 жыл бұрын
Nope, it discounts the cost, but you still need to have a pyramid of the appropriate level. Hope that helps.

HEY I just bought this game and I have a question, if I will play with my friends and we will be 4, and 3 of us arrives in the same space, could there be a battle of 3 or just we avoid arriving in the same spot?
@WatchItPlayed2 жыл бұрын
You wouldn't have more than 2 armies in the same space at the same time, because once you're in the same space, you have to resolve a battle, which will end with only one army left in the space. You'll find this covered in the video - hope that helps!

I think i missed something. On the "two player" board how does two players work on the left side of the canal when one castle is present?
@WatchItPlayed10 жыл бұрын
Not sure I understand the question. There are two starting areas on the left side of the canal (see 2:23)

Christopher Ramsey Yep, it's just cut off in the frame. Check 2:23 as I suggested, and you'll see it.

Just to sate my own curiosity, after the video it says there were 200 producers for this video? How is that possible / necessary?
@WatchItPlayed8 жыл бұрын
I am able to work on this series full time because people donate during a yearly fundraiser. If you donate at certain levels, you get Producer credits as my way of saying thank you. Quite literally, without the support, the show can't happen :)

Every time you say Kemet, all I can think of is The Muppets. (I know it's Kermit but they sound so similar)
@WatchItPlayed3 жыл бұрын
I photoshopped a picture of kermit with me at the table during Kemet, so that's fair.

If an opponent has control over a pyramid, does that player also LOSE those color powers as well or do those not count
@WatchItPlayed6 жыл бұрын
They lose that colour as well, while the opponent is there.
@hardbathsalts31436 жыл бұрын
The tiles they've purchased retain their power. However, the oponent can buy him/herself tiles of that level while the person in charge of that city cannot, at least until the invading army is driven out. Dont forget to pick up your temporary VP if it is a level four pyramid you are occupying.

if you have 2 creatures, and one of them is on the way of the other, you can pass that second one through, or you must go round?

Anderson Pereira Barbosa Must go around. At no point in your movement can you break the movement rules (even if you're going to end in a legal spot).
