It's been several friends and his family who blasted her and her book. With that said, it does not appear her "representation" of she revealed this to help someone similarly situated rings true. She is denying his family access to the children, she made his family sign an NDA to attend the funeral and she said in an interview that there were no signs but then states he was not bathing, 😅he was showing two different behaviors and was not eating...those were the signs. She was with him for 13 years but she didn't see any signs? Hear this and hear it well, everyone has a pattern to their routine and personality and when they start doing things different from that routine out of nowhere that is the sign, IF one chooses to notice. It's the equivalent to a person cheating, eventually, they will show signs of different behaviors in the words of Maya Angelou "People show you who they are, you have to CHOOSE to believe them." 13 years is a long time to not notice ANY signs. Kempire I appreciate this video, I am currently working on my PhD in Couple and Family Therapy and I often do not make comments on videos, but I felt this was important to state. It is very easy to point the finger at Allison rather than pointing the finger at a community in which an immense amount of stigma is attached to mental health. Being a biracial woman (father is Black and mother is French, White) and a Couple and Family therapist, this is something that I have experienced and witnessed personally and professionally. Candace is correct in saying that Black men are stigmatized within the mental health setting and in society, and the way depression and other mental health issues present among Black men looks very different; however, it is important to recognize the intersection of Stephen’s experience and her experience as his wife and now widow. I hope in her healing journey she can gain a better understanding of how he had to show up as a black man struggling with these mental health issues, which can better inform how she navigates their children.

I’m a Candiace fan but i will always acknowledge that she can be a hypocrite. I think Candiace speaks on race so much because she overcompensates for marrying a White man. What was her purpose in emphasizing Black children when they are also half white? When Twitch passed there was very little empathy for his wife, people even blamed her for his death not knowing what the cause was. I believe Twitch left the information around so that she would understand after he’s gone. Her sharing is helpful to many introverts in extrovert jobs like myself.

I’m going to say this as a black man, I’m not mad that she did what she did, as someone who works in a mental health facility and here’s all patients story’s a lot of people keep things to themselves bottled up. People this was his wife they shared kids and a life together. What’s wrong with what she’s done, I see nothing wrong with what she’s done. I also grew up in a household of what goes on, this house stays in this house and it was a house of horrors, and it almost took me out as an adult. As I’m reading a lot of comments alot of people are saying, she should have kept it to herself, and why thou. She is actively helping others through what she’s discovered from her husbands death, through those journals he’s wrote. I understand they share children together, and what this will do to them. It could help there journeys into adulthood. Like I said mental health is very real, yall. May he continue to rest in peace.

Would she have exposed this truth when he was living? No, because it wasn't her truth to tell. He was ashamed hence why he did not share this with the world and wore a mask. Many of us can relate and sympathize unfortunately. Im saddened that this truth has been revealed and his family and children have to remember his legacy in this way. She could have most certainly written her memoir and told the world how she has navigated this difficult time and still do it with kindness and graciousness.

Kempire narrative and opinions on this subject were 100% on point! WOW! WELL SAID!!!! Everything he said, is true and correct and should be shouted from the rooftops!!!! OMG, as a society we need to allow people to express themselves, especially the ones in grief, in a way that is comfortable for them and in a way that will bring healing to them. There is no right way or wrong way of going about it, a person just needs to create their own path through all the darkness/grief to again find the light, and this is simply her way of doing it. On a humane level, we should make every effort to ensure that our words are kind towards her, fully knowing that she has to be both strong for herself and her children, who I am sure, in their innocence, was impacted & affected in a mind-blowing way by the lost of their father in such an unexpected way. Please, let's show care and love towards each other, and be compassionate, one to the other.

Twitch's wife did lose her husband and has to process that, but she also found time to write a book just the same. So is this "promotion"?.... Well, we're calling out a thing. Let's also not act like a pregnancy announcement is the same as the details of someone who unalive themselves...
@TanukiOfficialКүн бұрын
People who are telling the wife that she should not share the struggles that her husband was going through are the reasons that so many people suffer silently with trauma... and then delete themselves. There is no shame in the truth. There is only healing. People need to stop mythologizing celebrities. They are human and they have the same difficulties that everybody has. Maybe if Twitch was not worried about how his fans would receive his troubles, he would have shared and not felt ashamed of his life. Exposing shame to light is the best way to eradicate it. This story will help other people who are tired of caring trauma. They may seek counseling. They may tell someone. And the person who listens may may sit back and listen without passing judgment or offering opinion. Maybe another wife or husband will see the signs before it is too late.
@reader2224Күн бұрын
I can see both sides and respect that her intention is to help folks that are struggling by sharing her story. However, personally I don’t think she needed to divulge what he was dealing with. Especially since it seems like he tried to hide it from his loved ones. I think there’s a way to talk about the importance of mental health and noticing signs without publicly sharing intimate details. Sharing his last words to his child is something the public didn’t need to know.

Clearly she was not a "safe place" for him or else she would have known a little something. Her healing is necessary. Do it privately. Say something more palatable publicly if you must. I don’t believe really her..she was working him like a dog..forcing him to do daily dancing for TikTok..go and see their videos so cringe..he was always looking frustrated and unhappy ..I think he regretted marrying her; she did not seem like the right partner for him…it seems he wanted out of entertainment biz but she signed them up for a new massive entertainment deal after he was leaving the Ellen show and she wouldn’t let him out if it-she seemed to be bully to him always needing to have her way. .in my opinion and she is now exploiting his death for money..go back and look at her footage of her going into the police station more than 24 hours after he did not come home-she did even seem shocked or surprised fake crying with no tears..it was really weird and how did TMZ know to follow her there at that very moment..she always wanted the lime light and pursued him because she knew he had star quality..he even refused to date her initially turning her down multiple times but she kept on persisting until he gave in..she always liked taking on more projects then he was willing to ; just for money.. She even went on the tv and blind-sighted him by telling the host that they were planing to have more kids-you show have seen his shocked face..and awkward body language between them..I think it is true that he had possible major depression /mental illness ;but I also think she is one of the causes of his greatest pain..by admitting that she knew he self-medicated at night alone ; then why not get him the help he needed if you truly care as a spouse ..it seems she let him do whatever so as long as they he continued to work and bring home money.
