@ 16:30 I have 8 of these within a mile of my home in the UK. CPOs like Osprey & Sainsbury’s are installing a lot of these units. They dispense both 50kW CHAdeMO plus 150kW 400v & 300kW 800v CCS from the same unit, they seam very reliable and simple to operate. ❤ the CCS cable is however very thick and heavy despite the spring mechanism.

1:13:17 as an employee in Kempower he should know the max power of CHAdeMO is not 50kW, but 400kW. The plug was from day one designed for 400kW. Kempower has chosen to only sell low amperage CHAdeMO cables. The closest fast charger to my work has 200kW CHAdeMO chargers...

Never seen a CHAdeMO plug exceed 100 kW (which can only be consumed by a car with a 500V battery - never seen this on a CHAdeMO car as well). Is there even cars out which can do more than 70 kW? :D

These have been sold for several years in Europe already, they are quality products. I have never come across one that hasn’t worked. The company is already 7 years old if I’m not mistaken and is making double digit profits. Not going bankrupt any time soon ;)

The nightmare scenario rears its ugly head with cloud oversight, market pricing? One car at an empty charging station $2 a unit to charge a premium vehicle. If the station is getting full, penalize older and slower charging vehicles so they go elsewhere after filling up less. 🙀☹️
