This what I really like about Ken. He builds what he likes, he drives an outdated Escort because thats the car he wanted to use. He is enthusiastic about his cars, what he likes and what he doesn't like. He is more like an enthusiast that were allowed to live his dream more than a proffesional atlete. I always wonder what his next project will be like as he pushes the envelope on the cars without them losing their "soul". Can't wait to see what his Escort Cosworth spare car project will turn out like.

So fascinating to listen to Ken talk about the cars. Hoonigans in general are fun to listen to but Ken has so much knowledge about the history and it is great. I have loved watching rally for so long and rarely have I met anyone in life that is into rally of any form. It has been great following Ken and Hoonigans. Hoonigans have gotten me into FD and it is great to add Ken's passion for rally into that.

The original cosworth design had a third wing, which actually increased the performance of the car. It was on Wheeler Dealers, I watched the episode and they brought in the car designer, and he said the car had a third wing, but the bean counters decided to axe the third one.

Just watched you talking about your RS200, I used to work next door to the Ford test track in Boreham, Essex, Uk. We used to slip through the hedge during lunch breaks (mid 80s) and watch the RS200 being thrown round the track every day for weeks during their test phase. You mentioned in this video about the Forest Rally in Maine. I was lucky enough to attend the last leg of this with my step daughter, granddaughters and step son Zach. My fist time attending and it was awesome to put it mildly. We stopped in to Sunday River on the way home to catch a glimpse of all the racers and their cars. My step daughter loved that your wifes car that had a unicorn on the hood and had to take a selfie with it. Zach has watched you since he knew what rally racing was and was so excited to be able to see you. We saw you and your wife walking and talking with some fellow racers and was hoping for the chance to say hi and meet you but we didn't want to be rude and interrupt. So we headed out since the girls needed to get to bed. As we were leaving a friend of his stopped him and knew one of your crew members and the friend knew how much of a fan Zach was and he was able to get a chance to meet you and shot the breeze with you for a few minutes. You made a dream of his come true. You taking the time to do that says a lot about who you are as a person and I'd like to thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule for that opportunity you gave him. Dude that mustang is so wicked, I remember seeing int drifting on the street. Boy that has to be a rush to drive. Maybe I could drive a rally car one day. Ive always been fascinated with rally cars since I was a little kid.
