Ken Kamikita (けけ) - Mist (Band Cover Ft. Seika)

I think I first heard this song 2 years ago when I didn't know how to compose or mix and only had a guitar for an instrument. I'm pretty sure I found it as I was binge watching related video songs and saw this. Sadly the title had all korean characters so I didn't even know who the singer was haha. Awhile ago I asked Seika to sing for me for a previous cover of Radwimps and she sent me a song about someone named KK and the song sounded way too familiar. Then it turned out to be this song from long ago!
I was sitting in my cardiologist office for my appointment (after my crappy heart surgery stuff) and just randomly thought to cover the song as my last cover song for a long time, since I'm moving to original songs (unless there's a cover song I really REALLY liked).
Aside from all of this, I've been getting ghosted really often by singers I ask to sing for my original songs (like 9 in 10 people). I give a lot of freedom on top of no deadlines, but it looks like people just tend to abuse it and just suddenly cut contact for no reason. If they don't want to sing anymore I give them the freedom to drop at any time; all they have to do is notify me. I'm considering stopping original songs for awhile and just plan to pay someone to sing for me, which means I'll just give them strict deadlines. I can't really do that if I barely have money scraps left to re-string my 8 month bass string and 5 month guitar strings. I'll just plan this for the future instead 8).

T3VY Thanks Tevy 8D (seika went on a trip i think right when i posted this!). I try not to have deadlines to respect their time since they have school and jobs. I do monthly checks to politely ask them if they still want to sing, but 90% of the time they just vanish and dont reply D8

Thank you for singing; you did a beastly job on this! Your a great person to work with and always on top with communication (something that I rarely experience sadly). Anyone would be lucky to be able to collaborate with someone with those traits 8D. Now I'll always have KK on my channel!

AAAAHH! Great job with the arrangement!! Seika sounds so great too!! I hope you can find more committed singers! You're very talented and I'd feel so honored to sing for your arrangements if I were them! I know lots of people live busy lives but it wouldn't hurt to let you know before they just cut it off completely with you... Good luck with your music in the future!

Thanks Courageous :D! It's really difficult to find anyone to commit to anything, even if given a lot of freedom (which is why I have to be my own band now). I'm guessing that most people won't take me seriously based on my sub-count (so people ghosting me won't really care since I'm not popular). The people I wish I could work with (and I know are dedicated) don't speak native English D8. I'll just try my best to stick with Miku English for now. I pretty much already contacted every single English Vocaloid cover singer (which was the main crowd I wanted to focus on since I can probably relate to them). I did have some really popular people who agreed, but just swept me under the carpet (poof).

D: I wish that people would care despite you not being so popular (y e t. You will get popular because I believe it because like, you're amazing?? lol). If you allowed me to sing for you, I would!! But in my opinion, I don't think I'm any good and you probably don't trust me lololol (I suck and I'm trash so you probably shouldn't either welp;;). I hope in the future that when you find singers you can trust, they won't end up ghosting you. More people should listen to your music!! I'm looking forward to seeing you improve along with your music and be able to reach the crowd you're aiming for! Keep on fighting!

Haha thanks 8)! This is a hobby focused thing so I'm not too worried about popularity. It's just that popularity affects how some people collaborate with me so being popular would help. I would ask you (and other people who offer), but I'm picky on vocal timbre and also try to find people with a high backlogs of vocal covers (or something similar to them singing). I won't even use my voice since I don't like my own timbre; and I'll probably want 4 years of training into singing with a coach if I even want to consider my own voice (even then I might not want to use my voice)! I really appreciate you since I see your support in a lot of my videos though so I thank you for that 8D!

I did a couple of auditions last year, but I decided to stop it to think about a different approach. I do have two people left I'm talking to and there might finally be a human version of my own song soon 8). It's already composed/recorded so I hope to get it out in a month or so!
