Ken Roczen's Emotional Indianapolis Victory Electrifies Supercross | Racer X Films

When Ken Roczen announced right at the beginning of the offseason in 2022 that he would not be returning with Honda HRC after six years in red, it set in motion a sequence of events that has now culminated in one of the most electric wins in supercross history. Roczen elected to join HEP Suzuki after trying several different machines, which was a surprise, because the Suzuki RM-Z450 had not been updated in years and had not won a race since the previous generation bike captured victories in 2016, with Roczen also at the controls back then. Could Roczen get the brand back to those heights? That became the focal point of what Roczen wanted to prove. When he crossed the line Saturday night in Indianapolis, his closest competitors hugged him, his team mobbed him, and Roczen emotionally decreed that it was the best win of his career. Now, is there more coming?

First SX race I ever attended in person.. and wow. That stadium was goin WILD! Gave me chills. So rad. Had the jitters after he finally crossed the finish line. I think that whole stadium held one simultaneous breathe haha

Has there ever been such an emotional win i mean this dude came back from literal hell. Double broken arms 10 surgeries like anyone who has been thru an injury like that is the only ones who can truly understand how insane it is to get back to an elite level after such horrific injuries

That’s crazy I did not notice, but when he goes over the finish line, the front part of the seat is off you can see it flailing in the air, and when the bike is on the ground sideways and he’s pounding on the bike you could see the seat flopping around. I wonder when the seat came off during the race great win for Ken.🎉

When you have an innovative team that is willing to try the things never tried before, (suspension and engine) and you have a rider that's not filled with ego and is willing to work hard and try things untried, that's a winning formula right there. I expect this team is going to get faster and faster if they continue down the innovation path. There is more development going on within this team then the factory teams could ever achieve.

This is complete insanity , every day at least 8 to 10 different video's on him winning s single race . It's the most ridiculously absurd thing I've ever seen . Eli winning both SX and MX last year did not get this much press. If Kens bike was 100% stock then I could see all the excitement but his bike is jam packed with the latest tech.
