He always said he could easily have gone back to normal life and maybe that was true at the time of this interview but after he'd tasted real fame(in Wiseguy) I don't believe for an instant that was really the case. He'd got used to being famous and living like a "star" whatever he likes to say here or in the future, mixing with, sleeping with, marrying people who he'd never even have met in ordinary life. And I might add, with little time for the fans who'd put him there, like so many others. I love Wiseguy, I love "Vinnie" but I don't confuse the actor with the character.

He did a few interviews strictly on audio but there are no visual appearances after about 2003 and that wasn't a public one, it was a private interview and the interviewer described him as overweight.. If you know better than this, quote which ones they were. He's been obsessive about not letting his actual appearance be seen by the public. Probably because he put a lot of weight on. In fact he's never been known for doing many interviews etc or appearances at conventions etc since he became well known. I think he achieved success so easily he didn't feel obliged to work at it or interact with fans etc. They always use the excuse they were so busy filming etc but you don't film continuously and they always have a plenty time for their private activities. Don Johnson is exactly the same. It's disrespectful to the people who put you where you are.

I see it the exact same way. He made a couple great iconic films and hes lucky to have done so. He probably had a lot of fun and is very greatful for the opportunity. He is ahead of the game as he said.
