Ken Webster, Visiting Professor at Cranfield University (UK) and a former head of innovation at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, reports: what exactly circular economy is, what we need to keep in mind when we are talking about a transition from extractive-linear towards circular economy, which role social dividends play in this case and how a transformation of our economic system could have a global positive impact on gender equity, poverty reduction, overcoming key environmental challenges and encouragement of all citizens to take greater responsibility for themselves and their contribution to society.
