An hour away from Shanghai is a town called Zhujiajiao. This place is also known as the Venice of Shanghai. It's still part of Shanghai, but totally different compared to the busy city center. An interesting destination for a day trip from Shanghai. The town of Zhujiajiao has lots of waterways, old rock bridges, charming streets cemented with stone and plenty of old traditional buildings.
