I was born in Anchorage in 1955, before it was a state! I have been all around the world and states and ended up in the 2nd most beautiful place. Pa. is only 2nd to Alaska! Its in my blood! always miss it, only not the winters! Great video!

Actually those red berries are called High Bush Cranberries or Cramp Bark but they aren't real cranberries. They do taste better after a frost though! :-P

This one really made me nostalgic for some adventures I took 20+ years ago. I used to have such a bad case of wanderlust and maybe I got it out of my system in my 20s. Now I live in a beautiful place and I hardly ever leave a few miles radius...and that's fine with me. But, that scene where you saw the "mist rainbow" stirred something in me and now I'm feasting upon old photos and memories. Thanks! Also, the production quality of these episodes just keeps getting better and better!! Great work!.

Countryside kinda looks like Newzealand there in many ways... And love what you show here, whats usually missed by the tourist hordes. And family in converted boat, who could think that was uncool, really! Lovingly built creative spaces. Never be allowed in Australia, but most of our houses look like crap. Worse than crap. We were in Seward and Homer in 2010 for a couple of weeks and it's somewhere we want to return to as it's awesome. If you camp on an eroded riverbank like at 10:00 it's a good idea to move your vehicle a couple of meters away from the water. Otherwise you could be in for another kombi restoration.
