I really love this song. It's not even just about "being a badass" like one might assume from the guitar riffs and the intensity of the song. You can tell Ken added elements like somberness, loss, and despair. It's not as evident in the main song except for a few lyrics: "Destroy everything you know, destroy everything you own" "can't take this much more, constantly repeating..." "my mind's a wreck" The Survey Corps suffered so much death and misery because of the Titans. This song does a great job of reflecting all the pain and anger they felt.

Coming back to this despite knowing it's about AOT, i still feel like there's other connections that can be made here and it's beautiful. The parallels to AOT are obvious, but once you see past the tribute it's not just about AOT, it's about tired of being weak, tired of feeling like you can't do anything, and wanting to take back your life. There's so many other series, stories, and more this can connect to and I love it. At some point in our lives, I feel like everyone hits that wall and wants nothing more than to just climb it, to see the light outside of the dark and be free again and I feel like this song is the anthem to that feeling. Don't be afraid of the hunter. Be the killer, not the prey.

This song still feels like it's one of the new ones to me, so it feels weird to realize there are people looking back with nostalgy to it

@@AlexandreRibeiroXRV7 I'm a bit late but here goes. So to start with he just randomly asked something ridiculously edgy in the middle of class which is already embarrassing, and secondly he put the teacher on the spot to explain an insanely controversial philosophy that starts off with a large prelude about how there is no god and life is meaningless before it even gets into explaining what it thinks people should do with their lives. A message which was so hilariously misunderstood that the Nazis went on record saying they liked it. After that bit of faint praise it became the philosophy of insane people and assholes. This is quite ironic since the whole point of nihilism was that no philosophy could justify being an asshole because nothing in the universe mattered except what you personally do. So the answer to the question is just as over the top as the question itself.

Yeah lol, remember when we thought that Living Tombstone was in kahoots with FNAF developer and pretty much leaked future lore in his songs? That's the same situation, but Ken actually predicted how the story will go.

I used to keep up with so much manga, so much anime. Your music gives me the most nostalgia I can remember, but it's daunting to get back into it, followed all the romcoms and now I see anime of manga that was relatively new when I last followed. I miss it

Reminds me of Muse during the days of Absolution and Black Holes and Revelations, which are my favorite albums from Muse. That's probably why this is my favorite song created by Ken.

Ken is beloved of the algorithm. It randomly recommends his work en mass a few times a year. He tends to upload a few days after this happens as well. It's like it knows. All hail the algorithm.
