Love your videos Doc. God Bless you man! Male, 71 years old and I haven't had serious health issues but i has some pretty strange goings on with my body for the last few years and was gaining weight. Weight that I could not lose with exercise as I could in the past. Former Collegiate gymnast (SEC school) and Carnivore/Keto since December 1. Went from 189# to148 as of this morning. My blood numbers at my annual physical in May were astounding!...Told the doc I was going to stop the 15 years of Pravachol Ive been on. He asked me to pay for a CAC test..I did...my score was zero (I've always exercised, maybe that helped) You are a big reason for this life change in me and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. My family is super supportive and now my son has started carnivore for weight loss and gout. Thanks again.

I reversed my Type 2 Diabetes within 6 months. Lost 85 pounds eating keto…under 20 total grams carb per day. Would like to lose 20 more. Never hungry. Did I miss bread, pasta and rice? Yes, for a bit BUT within two weeks, I felt so much better not eating carbs I was thrilled to give them up. Now, I never think about carbs. I got my head space into sick and tired of being sick and tired. I’m 73 but I feel decades younger. What a joy.

I went healthy low-carb/keto 17 years ago. Reversed my type 2 diabetes, plus got off all my meds for other issues as well. Never looked back. Never returned to junk food, processed foods. I get so many compliments on my skin, but the health rewards have gone way beyond that, as attested to by practitioners when I visit them. At almost 67, my "cardio/bio age" scans in at 32 on a professional scanner at a wellness center.

If the US Govt was serious about health, they'd issue carbohydrate limit recommendations in the exact same way that they do with alcohol. WARNING: Consuming more than 100 grams of total carbohydrate per day may cause health problems. The CDC should have carb guidelines just like they do with alcohol intake and exercise. This country is suffering from carbaholism and they don't even know it.

24:50 Salt is not making her retain water, the water is already retained. What's happening is that she's getting "bloated" with water because salt is making the excess water retained inside of the cells exit them by osmosis to be excreted out of the body. This is fixed by making sure you compensate every liquid you ingest with salt so you don't retain water anymore (5g per liter AT LEAST). There's a reason why all liquids in nature have salt in a similar proportion

(While always eating to fullness and to be honest, sometimes also just eating out of boredom, which is a habit I know I should break.) Most important for me though: my mental health seems to be improving on this way of eating, especially longstanding anxiety dissipating. I have a skin condition I'm hoping to heal so will try to persevere through the minimum 90 days recommended, though I anticipate some extended family visits during that time that may be a challenge to get through without some shaming. I have been modified Carnivore (I do eat some cheese and fresh fruit usually pineapple or kiwi, half an apple). I eat fatty meats (usually 80/20 hamburger with quality cheese on top, or ribeye, bacon) fried in real butter, cottage cheese x 4 months. My cravings are gone, I do not eat any fast foods or highly processed foods anymore. - RN x 28 years.
