Thank you Dr Berry! From Scottsdale Arizona 🌵I’ve been following you for over 2 years. I wish more providers listen to your podcast and learned from you. I’ve been a pharmacist for many years and was thought the mainstream medicine. I’ve started with Dr Fung’s advice to start intermittent fasting and then discovered your channel. I’m grateful and thankful for your teachings. It’s very difficult to convince other health care professionals to start with proper diet to heal body and eliminate medications. It’s a long road to turn all of that bad information and “healthy advice” around and we all to have to stand up to big pharma and educate one person at the time! Keep your amazing work with teaching us. Those seeds of truth will bloom. You are turning lives around for many people.

I am a caregiver to my mom in law who is 85 yrs old. He had a stroke 9 yrs ago and didn't have one after since I took care of her. We eat low carb, ketovore and carnivore depends on the day. Her blood work came back great. The doctor had to reduce her rx. She only takes bp and blood thinner. I think she doesn't need those since her inflammation number is low. Eating this way is good for our elderly. No sugar and ultra processed carbs and food

Thank you to this man and entire community. I'm 2 days shy of my 1 year anniversary of quitting alcohol and taking my PHD lifestyle by the horns. In the first 4 months I went from an a1c of 10.6 to 5.4 and 80 lbs lost. I'm currently still holding onto an a1c of 5.4 and 95 pounds lighter all with no medication and carnivore/ Ketovore. I wish I'd known of this 20 years ago. Trying to get my wife and daughter on board but they're addicted to the carbs. I believe the PHD is the only way(whatever style fits). Is the e-coli in beef recall coincidence or a scare tactic by big food?

What I find interesting from so many comments on all the carnivore channels is the number of baby boomers who have been made sick on the experiment of low fat/high carb that we were raised on and who are now turning to carnivore and low carb to get better.

I raise my children mostly animal based (I myself mostly eat carnivore for 4,5 years now and also feel so much healthier than before) and let them play outside as often as possible. They are less often sick than their friends. Also they have less severe symtoms when they ate sick. People also tell me they are much calmer and content than many other children and dentists says my kids have much healthier teeth as many children. I think it's probably due to the lack of sugar, antinutrients, additives and all those processed carbs.

Do they attend a school or do you homeschool. How do you navigate your kids with their friends?
@Mareike-aka-Mary-1337
@Mareike-aka-Mary-1337 Ай бұрын
@@janetprice1368 Sadly in Germany it is not allowed to homeschool Kids. It was so easy when they were not in school and they could simply eat at Home. So I make lunch for them which they take to their school. When they were younger they also tried food that their classmates brought. But they also got rashes and digestive issues after trying that stuff. Later we found out one has problems with gluten and the other with nuts, so they stopped eating food that I didn't prepare for them, because it makes them feel bad. Another problem was my husbands mother who always wanted to buy there love with candies. But they tell her they won't eat the candy right now and save it for later and later throw the candy away. When friends of them visit us, their friends ask for candy very often. I provide them with sausage, cheese, greek yoghurt and fruits and they stopped asking for candy because they know I won't give that to them. I say to their friends: I won't help the dentists pay their expensive cars by providing you with sugar so they can charge your parents for fixing cavities. I also teach my Kids about proper human diet and how unhealthy processed food is and let them watch videos by Dr Berry and Dr Chaffee so they understand why I think it is so healthy to eat this way. (They already know enough English for the videos because I try to raise them bilingual)

I had Cholecystitis and was in hospital for a week of IV antibiotics with a CRP of 125. They discovered one big gallstone which had been building for many years. They told me to eat very low fat, no eggs, etc. I did this for a few weeks but my asthma, acid reflux and indigestion got worse and worse until I was forced onto the Carnivore diet. Within 24 hours all my symptoms had gone! I did start off very carefully on the amount of fat and slowly increased and I haven't had a jot of gallbladder problems since the infection went. I'm now off the list for it's removal.

blood pressure! I am on 5 mg. blood pressure medicine, and I have had to almost fight with this doctor to keep her from raising it to 10 mg. I do believe my blood pressure was high without this medication, but I am also fairly active. I might not even need this. Last time this nurse checked it, she pumped that up so high, I almost screamed. It was 130/80. Doctor says, blood pressure high today and asked me to check it at home. At home not one time did I come up with this same number on a wrist monitor, it was always normal. I sent the info to her through her website, and said, that day it was higher, she pumped me up so hard I almost screamed. this last time, she was careful of how much she squeezed it up and it was NORMAL. Sometimes I wonder if they changed the standard for high blood pressure just so they could put more people on blood pressure medicine.

Doctors must feel useless when their patients become healthy and not in need of prescriptions anymore. Mine said, ‘Don’t be a stranger!’ I wished he would say ‘Good work! Keep doing what you’re doing!’ 88 and no more prediabetes or high blood pressure. No more out of whack cholesterol. Nothing that needs him to write that rx. Hope he is learning something. But if doctors feel they may be losing patients and their income, it will be difficult for some. For others, the desire to heal and ‘cause no harm’ will come first. We are teaching our doctors what they never learned in Med School.

For the other person who talked about Ankylosing Spondylitis...I had that form also. Gluten, possibly dairy and nightshades can give you this form or arthritis. I had it. You just have to write down everything you eat to see if one of these categories is your issue. Mine was nightshade foods. Tomatoes, potatoes (sweet potatoes are fine) peppers, eggplant, tobacco, goji berries. Keep in mind, Paprika can be hidden in many foods made by companies which come in boxes and bags, ex breaded chicken has paprika in the breading. Cajun spices and cayenne pepper are also nightshades. Black pepper is not a nightshade but is extremely high in oxalates. I use white pepper because even oxalates were becoming an issue. Good luck! This is extremely painful. You can figure this out. Trial and error. And, the drugs they give you will eventually kill you if not at least make you even sicker. I have gotten off gluten also because that is what gives you leaky gut and then the nightshades got in and gave my A.S.

You should address T1 diabetes and the PHD. As T1, I have gotten my A1C down to 5.4 with an insulin pump and CGM, on the PHD. The CGM is almost redundant on very low carb, once the pump is properly adjusted for my body and metabolism. I'm in Rutledege, TN.

I am intrigued by your success. My 28 yr old son has had type 1 for 26 yrs now. On your very low carb diet, are you saying that there is very little fluctuation in your blood sugar…it just stays low all the time?
@LPGinc
@LPGinc Ай бұрын
@@paulbailey7066 yes and no. I have an insulin pump, with 8 different basal feed rates based on time of day. These rates must be carefully adjusted to each individual. Dr. Bernstein's book, "Diabetes Solution" is full of very good information if serious about really controlling T1 with low carb. The less carbs the easier it is to control it. Once in ketosis, exercise no longer crashes blood sugar.

Coconut olive and avocado oil is not made the same way but we call seed oils are. Typical seed oils are the hard pit cooked under high temperature and pressure.And then many chemicals add a descriptive rancid taste color and smell. All of coconut and avocado are pressed cold from the flash of the fruit.

I would defer to Dr. Thomas Seyfried on the cancer question. My wife is about to have surgery for breast cancer. She really wanted to try Dr. Seyfried's protocal but right now we can't afford a 150 dollar book and a 100 dollar keto mojo meter, and of course Medicare and Medicad won't pay for those but will pay for SOC. She's determined to stay 95 to 100 percent carnivore (we've been keto/carnivore for 4 and 1/2 years) because she knows this woe will help her recover faster and lessen the horrible affects of the treatments.

Thanks so much for talking about white coat syndrome. It almost killed me. I am terrified when I go to the doctor. My blood pressure is insane when they take it. I have so much adrenaline that I shake. They freak out and tell me I am going to have stroke. So I relented and started taking a blood pressure medicine that was a diuretic. Did I mention that I have been heavy fatty red meat keto for going on 7 years. I am normal weight. A1C is 4.7 triglycerides are 42 . After two weeks of the bp medication I was in the emergency room with a 2.4 potassium level (life threatening) I had mental confusion, heart pounding and shortness of breath. The emergency room doctor saved my life. It’s been a couple of weeks since I got out of the hospital and I am finally starting to feel my self. I started taking my blood pressure at home and I don’t have high blood pressure. I have found that it does fluctuate depending on what I am doing or if I am stressed. I now will refuse my bp being taken at the doctors.

I'm 6 wks carnivore and I had the oddest thing happen today. I went to the Farmers Market in town and saw a plant I didn't recognize. I picked a little piece off a leaf and put it in my mouth and it tasted like pure cane sugar!! I asked the vendor "What is this?" She said, "spinach"... I almost fell over. After no leaf veggies for 6 weeks, SPINACH was sickly sweet to me! Amazing!

Active and athletic 67 yo male 4 year carnivore with a sudden pulmonary embolism with major clots that was delt with at the hospital. I was shocked by this, which shook my belief in the carnivore way. Any thoughts? You guys (Chaffee, Baker and you are what I have been religiously following for several years. Just Bad luck? I am taking it slowly for now but feel fine.

I’m about your same age (62) and 15 mos ago I was 300 lbs, morbidly obese, type 2 diabetic, high blood pressure, acid reflux, chronic fatigue, migraines, IBS, brain fog, depression, anxiety and much more when I found Dr Berry and the other “Good Doctors” and Keto/Carnivore influencers. Well I have lost 87 lbs (now 213 my lowest weight since I was 21) and I’ve reversed/cured my diabetes, high blood pressure and all the rest of my chronic physical and mental conditions. I’m also OFF ALL MEDS!! What caused your pulmonary embolism and other chronic health conditions was NOT carnivore… it was chronic inappropriate inflammation caused by DECADES of damage from the sugar, carbs, toxic seed oils, man mad chemicals, pesticides and glyphosate sprayed on the fruits and vegetables you were eating, the plant toxins (oxalates, lectins, etc)… Fatty red meat and eggs are the most nutrient dense and least inflammatory foods you can eat, and what proper humans have been eating for 350,000+ years as a species on Earth. Don’t let anyone tell you that meat is the reason you had these recent health problems… It was all the poisons that you had unknowingly and innocently put into your body from the foods (and sugary drinks) you used to ingest. I feel incredible energy and my mental clarity and focus are off the charts!! I literally feel better than I’ve felt since I was 20 yrs old. Best of luck with your Proper Human Diet journey and… THE BEST IS YET TO COME!! 😊😊🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩🐮🐑🥓🍤🐷🐠😎👍🤗

Have your doctors check if you have a protein-c deficiency. Often times, this condition isn’t discovered until later in life.

I am so PROUD to say I breastfed both of my kids for their first 3 years. (In addition to other foods as they were ready) but I wish I knew what I know now about the fruits and veg. I DID however give scrambled eggs often. (No milk added-that made no sense to me)
