Really great tips, friend. one more thing I would add. Especially to those who come from broken families, those who have not seen what a godly marriage look like. For me, having godly, wise couple from Church who poured out their lives to invest on me and Kevs. I owe them so much for imparting to us their godly wisdom and setting a good example. Younger couples have so much blind spots and having mature, wise and godly couples in the faith can really speak into those blind spots. I thank God for godly couples who teach younger couples to prepare them for marriage.

Hi Kendra! Great video! You hit on some great points that don't always get discussed. My husband and I have been married for 4 amazing years! There are so many things to do to prepare for marriage but the biggest one for us was to really reframe our idea's on what it means to love your spouse. I think the world's idea of love is mainly based on butterflies and rainbows or emotion while the bible says it is an action not. I could honestly talk about marriage advice all day but I will stop here lol. 🙂

Omg, you and I both sista! I never really enjoyed cooking. I've actually learned how to do more ever since I got married and I am starting to enjoy it more, but it has to be in my own terms. My husband is the chef at home and he loves cooking and creating different dishes. So, you and I are blessed! haha

I, as most, dated and played the field. I see this as dangerous looking back with a new heart. I believe in godly courtship and not long term dating. Curious to watch your video.
