Single in my 40s and totally agree with 2nd point. I was never ready in my 20s (was surprised when friends yearned for it). I was still not ready in my early 30s. The thought started in my late 30s but only as a thought. But now, I'm more than ready and i see it happening soon am glad I waited. I needed to know me first plus being left to take care of siblings after my parents died while I was in my early 20s. I needed me space after the "kids" left the nest. I'm now more than ready to care for my man and dedicate to marriage.

When he said , “I am better than her list “ I was so moved. “He checked all the boxes that she didn’t even know that she needed”. This is so beautiful, and comforting. Knowing God has the best for me .

32:53 You might not have to be a certain shape but you SHOULD BE in shape meaning as healthy as you can be within your control. I work in healthcare and I heard someone say, “Your health is not your doctor’s responsibility. It’s yours.” That is so very true! Even biblically…God has some health standards that IF we followed them we’d have less health challenges.

That's right when I really really wanted to get married and I was getting desperate I got to the end of myself in conversation with god and I said you know what God I give it up I surrender and if it's just you and me forever from now on I'm fine with that. It must have been a week or less that he brought my husband into my life and I know for sure for sure that God brought him. After having that lesson and I am in marriage and struggling with marriage things now I am realizing God wants me to bring that same Spirit of surrender into my marriage as well! Wow the challenge of life and spirituality never ends

Currently courting with a set day and I must say learning to realize that I am still single until I get married was such a conviction for me. I must still prepare because I am absolutely still single. God has been molding me and transforming me into such a beautiful soul. He even gave me a new mindset on having kids and being fruitful and not using birth control. Gods in control of my womb.

Can't agree more! These were excellent points. Don't look for someone to complete you, be complete and the best you can be before a relationship, so you have what is needed to contribute to a fulfilled partnership. Treat yourself as God's temple, the best that he designed you to become. Bring God's best for you into a union that honors Christ as the center of an honorable marriage.

You're right about women not chasing and don't act like you're not available. God spoke to me when I was single and he said you can look for your husband but don't be obsessed with it cuz I was so obsessed with it and he was calling me to get more into scripture and to surrender to him but still be open to finding my husband and it all happened when I got my head right. Yes absolutely chasing did not work I tried it and I didn't realize I was doing it but I got wiser and wiser as I went

I am a widow now. My husband was a baby saint when we got married. We did not match Spiritually. It caused a lot of problems because he was spiritually immature. Our walk with Christ wasn't the same. Now, considering possible remarriage, I know now I must have a man who at least matches me spiritually, and I really still need emotional healing from past post trauma experiences. God bless you two for sharing 🙏🏾 😊❤

I had one relationship that ended and one told me I was “depressed” . Which I was very happy until the way I was treated in the relationship. I then dated another person and came to realization that it was the same person with a different face. A month later we broke up and he told me “you’re unhappy” and as I grew in God I learned that you will keep taking the same test until you pass it but also that the enemy will make those people say the same things about you so you’ll start believing it about yourself. Thank God I never held on to it, but I peeped it. Just touching on the topic at 10:00

Im finally getting the concept of the right amount of confidence towards my relationship with God and others...as long as Im good with God everything and everyone else should be the added extras. If I get married or not being honestly good either way....sets a standard that pleases God and makes life more fulfilling. Learning to rest and wait in Him makes a difference.

As a 40 yr young single 😁, I really appreciated this message. It’s definitely my single season and I agree 100% needing to give yourself time with God so he can heal the broken pieces and restore you even better than before❤. May I make a request about something that I don’t hear from pastors when talking about relationships.. and that’s singles who have kids, who didn’t follow the right way, or did, but now are single and have kids (young or teens) in the pic as well. Can you talk about that and give your perspective and advice to both men and women?

I could be wrong but I think there are lots of teaching for the women and their is a constant shortage of taught men. So women are aging and ending up single longer because there isn't a lot of godly men to meet. I encourage them to keep chasing after God and praying but they are slowly becoming the forgotten saints in the church.

I believe that not everyone is going to find a spiritually mature man, but once He loves the Lord & is working toward that daily, it can still be the will of God. We just have to pray about that person. To be spiritually mature is a process for both men & women so it’s just a matter of process & nothing is too hard for God 🙏🏾

@@shequaniawright8236if he’s not a spiritually mature man when he pursues you then it is a sin to be dating and marrying him. The Bible says not to be unequally yoked.

@@TheBlaxkWolf that is not true. This is false teaching. The scripture said not to be unequally yoke with an unbeliever. If the person is a believer and they are like minded, but maybe they just began their journey or not as mature as you, that does not make the relationship unequally yoked. “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?” ‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

I agree. Christians are constantly being told that women should be a Proverbs 31 woman, but they fail to speak to them men in how they should be a Proverbs 22 man.
