Kendrick Lamar- Fear, Untitled 05, Good Kid, The Art Of Peer Pressure, DNA, Momma and Lust are all great choices. He's such a diverse artist. Hope you'll do more of him.

Thank you for these! I've added them to my Kendrick list! His stuff is so deep, I may have to do follow up videos after I listen a few times, its so hard to catch everything from 1 listen. But that's a sign of a true artist! He's creating stuff that is very deep.

Kendrick Lamar is a once in a generation artist. I highly recommend pulling lyric genius up if you listen to his songs. They all have so many levels and layers. As far as I know he is involved in everything from making the music to the videoclips. Songs I recommend : Sing about me, Fear, Blacker the Berry, I, U, Good kid, Maad city. But the most important thing is to listen to his albums as a whole because they are all concept albums and are telling a story. The songs are great if you listen to them separetely but they shine the brightest when you listen to them together. Keep up the good work, you got another sub in me. 😉

idk why this song always gets recommended first to people, I mean I get it has mainstream appeal. But this song was kind of created for a very specific reason within the context of the album/with the intention to be a great single. I love this song dont get me wrong...but for a first listen to kendrick I would prefer to see something with a little more power behind it. Glad you liked it regardless but this is probably the least serious kendrick song there is. I would love to see a reaction to FEEL or FEAR for starters. But kendrick has a plethora of just absolutely outstanding music. You could dig into his lyrics for days.

also dave meyers is a GREAT director! Kendrick is very much involved with the production of everything he touches. Thats why his musical quality control is so high. Reason why he is so universally respected.

AstableRasta Thank you! I’ve added these to my list. That’s crazy that this is considered his worst work. I thought it was great. If this is not his best, than I’m really excited to check out the tracks you recommended. Thank you!!
@chubbychuckle4 жыл бұрын
@@MetalGuyReacts it's considered one of his worse because his fans consist of more lyrical rap fans. He usually is telling a story with lots of words and rhymes or deep meaning but this is one of his songs for radio. Hopefully you'll like the songs that have been requested that are more lyrical and slower.
@chubbychuckle4 жыл бұрын
@@MetalGuyReacts my point is you won't find many hype/ mainstream songs like this beyond Madd City, DNA and Swimming Pools.

Oh I see. Good to know. I've got a bunch of his tracks on my list, if there was 1 tune I should move to the top of the list, what would it be? Thanks for the sub and checking out the videos! I'm having such a great time learning about new artists.
@chubbychuckle4 жыл бұрын
@@MetalGuyReacts I'd probably say Sing about me / Dying of thirst.
