Same. I haven't listened to rap/hip hop in years and I've been tapped into this since Euphoria. We got disses whenever. 😅. It was just the other rapper responded, months later. This was literal days of multiple tracks released relentlessly. What a gift to be Gen X. Kendrick Lamar is exceptional, Pac would've been proud. He is defending that Crown with everything in him. This battle wasn't even close. I'm excited about listening to his albums now. I've never listened to any of them, his or Drakes, but this has gained K-Dot another Fan. Sensational.

It's being played on the radio,in the clubs, on the streets and at ballgames & not just in L.A. BTW, summer hasn't even started yet and "Not Like Us" is already off to a good start. That K-Dot's letting reactors get paid when he doesn't have to is the cherry on top, proving that he's a much better artist and a much better man than Drake, which ain't hard, to put it mildly. As far as I'm concerned, this is one for THE culture, not just pop culture.

I'm from México, Kendrick's artistry is out of this world. All the tracks he dropped in this short period of time has a different vibe all of them on top of that. The bars, the writing, switching flows is insane, something I haven't seen in another artist in any genre. Eminem was right when he said that Kendrick is one the best lyricist not just in this generation but of all time.
