Kendrick and Drake have been subbing each other for a long time and a lot of shots never register on people’s radar. Joe is exactly right… Kendrick leaving TDE now means he controls EVERYTHING and he’s his own big homie. Which makes things very scary for the next year or two….

That angle I never even thought. One thing I'll give Joe credit for is his ability to analyse topics to the highest quality. However, does the clash even make sense now. I would have imagined it happening between that 2016-2018 time frame.

Drake vs Kendrick seems good for hip.hop cuz someone like kendrick need to separate drake from being an hiphop artist or especially a top hiphop artist. Drake ain’t gonna address Kendrick without seeing a angle he can approach him with (an when I say angle I mean everything from outdoing him to be the ‘people’s champ’ afterward), he don’t like taking L’s an if he ever does he’s always got a way to flip it in his favour but Kendrick is an has been ticking every box for years so the only way to outmanoeuvre him is to literally be better than him at what he does. As for Kendrick, he’s on his pedestal, he knows the minute he steps off it his separation from everyone else is gonna loose it’s value (sorta like with Cole [he’s goated though don’t get it twisted]), so he might drop a sneak diss here an there but he won’t fully go in on someone unless said person addresses him directly

My understanding is TDE is gang affiliated, but they keep their nose clean. Think 50 walking out on stage after killing dude in the back in Get Rich Or Die Trying (which is based on 50's life story for those who don't know) If you listen to the music... you get a sense that. And they sing 1st hand. Not 2nd or 3rd person like alot of Tupac's earlier thug stuff. Kendrick seems to play it off as if he is the good boy. But his uncles (who lived with him growing up) run/ran the Piru Gang in his area if I'm not mistaken. But he knows he is The GOAT now & is on some Roman Reigns "Acknowledge me!" trip I suspect. So Im expecting fire from PGLang. They did just drop that Baby Keem: Family Ties grenade after all. Not gonna get into the rumours about TDEs occult leanings either. But just listen to Ab Soul & or SZA. Point is... there is a reason Snoop said TDE is the professional version of Death Row. PGLang is probably going to take over from there on some Aftermath 2.0

I think it’s naive to think Kendrick wouldn’t diss whoever he wants. He gave you everything you needed to know in subliminal hits over the years. - I hear you talking shit - you got ghostwriters - just say my name and you’ll see candyman Kendrick let them know if you say my name you’ll get it like no one has ever got it. No one is willing to say his name. The Heart was everything anyone needed to know about Kendrick in a beef. He’d absolutely eat anyone in the game right now so it’s all good. I don’t think Top Dawg is stopping Kendrick. I think Kendrick is calling the bluff because he knows what he is capable of
