When he stated he'll get back to the other "betrayals" later, that should have been it, but he leaned into it again with Family Matters because now it allow him to proclaim it was an unfair fight and gave him the chance to play the "underdog" angle. That's why on Heart 6 he repeated the same major mudslinging points of domestic abuse and Dave Free baby daddy claim. If you have watched battle rap before this like Lux vs Cal or Verb vs Hitman this Kendrick display reminded me alot about those two battles & how ahead of their time Verb & Lux craft was. Drake was soned badly on this one and Kung fu Kenny displayed multiple levels of diffrecnce in terms of stragety, battle IQ, lyricism and angles. Kendrick also raised the standards of a mainstream Hiphop battle.
