It's not that Drake doesn't know he needed to focus on Kendrick alone on his diss tracks, but he chose not to because he had nothing to go at him with. When he stated he'll get back to the other "betrayals" later, that should have been it, but he leaned into it again with Family Matters because now it allow him to proclaim it was an unfair fight and gave him the chance to play the "underdog" angle. That's why on Heart 6 he repeated the same major mudslinging points of domestic abuse and Dave Free baby daddy claim. And why for both of his disses he uses Mr Morale as his form of "dirt" with his incorrect reading of Mother I, and Kendrick already admitted infidelity.

This really reminding me of when Chief Keef had everyone saying 💥 New Jersey up except it’s truly on an international level.

Honestly pretty surprised Drake didn’t stay in the “I’m the biggest rapper” angle because he was pretty much on that tip with Push Ups. He could’ve pressed that but focused more on the controversy.

Kendrick had better rapping, strategy, narrative spinning, rebuttals, numbers, and swayed the culture. Drake thought the internet antics and deflecting by going at everyone else as well would work. However Drake’s rapping in family matters was nuts . He should’ve never made Heart Part 6

If you have watched battle rap before this like Lux vs Cal or Verb vs Hitman this Kendrick display reminded me alot about those two battles & how ahead of their time Verb & Lux craft was. Drake was soned badly on this one and Kung fu Kenny displayed multiple levels of diffrecnce in terms of stragety, battle IQ, lyricism and angles. Kendrick also raised the standards of a mainstream Hiphop battle.
