THIS HAS BEEN PATCHED Now projectiles entering a portal consume 0.1 charges (portals spawn with 4). Portals cannot lose a charge to projectiles more than once per 0.1 seconds, giving it a 4 second lifespan when used as a loop like this.

Just Make portals use a fraction of charge every time a projectile goes through. That way You can do this but Will be annoying because You need to reset portals every time they run out of charges and Will be not spamable because the more projectiles the duration of these Will be lower. Like having one or 2 projectiles flying around instead of 100

This setup is very nice. It will be adressed by DE because it's straight up automation and promotes AFK but I hope they just remove the unlimited duration of Nova's Portals or limit the number of projectiles going through the portal. Getting rid of that seems not very fun for me.

It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Is almost impossible to shoot the arrows perfectly horizontal into the center of the portal After a few minutes, the arrow will eventually drift and miss the portal. Plus, nullifiers delete portals

@@snakeman830Yep, only reason it was never explored was because of the duration. Now that its infinite, its much more viable. I personally doubt its gonna get nerfed in any big way because its limited to projectiles that a) have no bullet drop and b)infinite body bunch through. Worst case scenerio is they give nataruk projectiles lifespan, but more than likely its gonna stick around for a bit because its not exactly a free ticket to lvl cap or afk, and any use of macros to keep her 4 going will weed out most abusers.

Tbh a simple fix for this is slowly degrading damage each time a projectile passes through instead of what others suggested of time limit by reducing damage as it occurs it allows the fun to exist without removing the skill or anti afk method of the TOS

This still has a few problems that would keep it from truly being an afk machine, A) enemies with high enough Overgaurd, health, or inability to be knocked back can waltz right through. B) this interaction does have a duration based on how the trap is made due to the arrows drifting outside of the wormhole and once that happens... C) Imagine trying to reset this with a horde of enemies on your back constantly shooting at you (remember, duration is based on how accurate you are with your shots).... Great plan A, but once shite hits the fan you're gonna need a hell of another plan due to 1-4 flood gates being opened releasing a horde of enemies right into your location. Edit1. I almost forgot, enemies can also take your wormhole completely deleting it... Edit2. Allies can also use your wormhole charges...

​@braxtonyarborough8448 oftentimes enemies can just walk through the beam, and any frame drops whatsoever (like if a lot of enemies get hit at once) cause the portal to lag and fail to catch some projectiles. This setup cannot be used to maintain any kind of meaningful afk. It is however incredibly fun to have as part of your arsenal, eg. covering an entry point while you focus another. 😊 Survivals dwindle in life support with this though, as the AI slows down, or the portals degrade. It's really not as omnipotent as everyone is trying to make out

I might be stupid, but after a while, arrows seem to randomly disappear from the portals... I don't know if the placement is just very strict, but after anything between 20s to 5 minutes they just go through the portal (from what I could see) and hit the wall behind it :/ Is there some kind of trick?

Funny thing is that each projectile loses a tiny ammount of damage and lifespan each time it hits something or is passing through the shield Not enough to notice, but enough to where they despawn after about a minute

I was doing this in the Koumei mission with 117m range. When the boss spawned it walked right into it and died instantly. You can also use the 4th ability with speed to have them charge into it faster for quicker kills 😂

Nataruk and Nova portal have an unusual interaction for a long time. It was okay-ish because back then Nova portal have duration. New rework make Nova portal have infinite duration which make this "unintended interaction" become OP

Nova could always teleport abilities, gunfire and projectiles without consuming charges, but the portal used to have a limited duration, making this strat somewhat unusable. Now that it only has charges, though...

Just give a limit of bullets/projectiles (doesnt drain nor end fast with multishot) fired through the Nova portal and make it like reach 1 minute and have a cooldown of 10 seconds after. Not nerfed too hard but not leaning to AFK since you NEED to set up the portal every time
