⁠for some of us it's a camera not a toy, and yes, you can buy insurance for it, at least for a DJI when you first purchase it. kinda like insurance for cell phones.

I will forever miss my Mini 2, A tree ate it because I was trying to skate as low as possible to the top of the tree line. Sadly I looked away for a second to try to get real world eye's on the drone, and that's when i crashed, if I had been looking at the screen, I might have seen the tree branches, but it was winter so no leaves. Wasn't recording at the time or I would send you the video. Your also totally right about the part about having a lot of hours under your belt, I had flown that mini 2 every chance I got, for like 2 years or so, hundreds and hundreds of hours, I was a PRO. Still crashed one day.

Since this is my flight allow me to explain and apologies for the late reply. This flight was done with my chimera7 and my front left prop just exploded mid air. The props were brand new without any dents or chips. It was the second time those gemfam props exploded on me and ever since i have switched to hqprops

I once crashed my mavic 2 pro side ways in sport mode in powerboats racing to getting great shoot. And after i found it all good. Then one time i just lift off and strangely lost all connections and it dropped in river. But now i have air2 , DJI FPV and Autel EVO dual 640t enterprise
