@@Revealingstorm. yes, Hi-Evolution movies 1 & 2 are out. Most of Hi-Evo 1 is recap aside from the first 20 minutes which is a prequel. Hi-Evo 2 is an alternate timeline which canonizes Pocket Full of Rainbows and other timelines. It's the best thing they've made for E7 since the actual TV show imo. It seems there's A LOT of cut content, though, running by the OG trailers for 2. Like, movie 2 doesn't use any of the teaser footage or even plot points. I'm curious to what the movie was supposed to be

yes, it's a movie called Gurren Lagann - Lagann Hen (there is also a previous one called Gurren Lagann - Gurren Hen) ... Both work kinda like a recap of the series, but with alternative endings Lagann had and even more epic ending, so you should check that.

Lets all be honest though,... Zero Two from Darling In The FRANXX is just a copy of Asuka from Eva. Asuka's code/unit is 02... and they are both very much "sexual people", and only one person in the episodes of Eva has rode with a girl in a unit... guess who? Shinji, and Asuka... the Zero Two and Hiro of the series. Im convinced at this point that the creator of FRANXX just stole the character, and changed the show by making it a whole lot more romantic. Its still a good show though, but the ending was random and out of place. it was really just a "Oh lets see how far we can take things before our fans get mad" which they shoulda done towards the start of the show to test the waters, not smack in the end of it

but how about the studio itself, Studio Trigger is still Gainax and Trigger still keeping their Gainax culture alive since Hiroyuki Imaishi, Yoh Yoshinari, Sushio, Atsushi Nishigori, etc was working on Studio Gainax (the studio behind Evangelion)
