I like the split screen. I also use that for some of my videos as well. In fact I use a quad screen at times. What I have also done with my drone for filming is slow down how fast the camera can tilt/pan etc and how fast the drone can rotate to smooth out the action. This way, if I speed the video up it still looks not bad. Love watching the water rush and flow. Just something soothing about it.

The great thing is an excavator can also bust through ice and frozen dirt, so it can work into the winter and colder months. Just needs a but more reach to knock out the far side. 🦫 🦫 🇨🇦 🇨🇦 🇨🇦

Beaver dam removal Excavator style. Nice to see an almost immediate breakthrough for a change. Your way of working is a lot more satisfying though. Analyzing the dam on how to approach it, slowly breaking its defenses until it subsides to the forces of nature and releases the flow. ASMR at its best.😊

The fellow on the excavator had you backing up pretty quickly when he 1st broke that dam. I’ll admit that this is maybe quicker but I agree with a lot of the other comments I like the way you do it better. Thank you for this video I’m looking forward to seeing your next

I agree that they were probably more dangerous to remove by hand. You might have had a hard time getting up and out of the path of the rushing water because the channels would be pretty deep! Stay safe!!!

Judging by its height, the first one would've been a heck of a challenge to remove manually. At least with the excavator the channel bed is now levelled and cleaner. 🙂

Very easy and fast removal of the dam and very effective. A collapse is more impressive. Maybe you can use an excavator in winter time.

I wish this excavator made wider channel in both dams. These will be easy and quick for beaver to rebuild. And instead of split screen I agree with someone that it should be one screen, I didn’t know where to watch 😂 still great video, I like a drone view 👍

Faster - yes machines are, Those beavers were building faster than you could remove the blockages, as the mud base they were building on was getting larger (wider). But the machines have their problems.

Look at all the bank dens! @4:28 If you see a beaver size hole in the channel bank, try jamming a camera into it. It could be a food storage den or there might be a beaver inside. LOL Cool video, thanks for sharing. -EZ

This appeared to be almost all mud with few sticks. Interesting construction by them little guys. I think the shovel was good to use as the mud was too thick for u to easily do. Also you get into areas that the excavator couldn't get to so each method has value. Thanks for the video. Split screen with drone very nicely done,

Seeing a beaver dam removal with an excavator was cool!! I really liked the view from above the dam with the drone. You should make sure to have a tri pod for your phone or the camera on the ground so you can concentrate on flying the drone. Even without that you did an excellent job and it was nice to watch!
