Kenitra Morocco Food Tour - Kenitra Morocco isn't known as a food destination, so when we visited for a week recently we wanted to find out what was good to eat in Kenitra Morocco.
When we asked our Airbnb host where we should eat in Kenitra, he told us to go to Rabat instead. So we didn't have high hopes about our dining experiences here in Kentira. We tried anyways and found some really great food (and one not so great, lol.) Some Moroccan classic dishes, amazing Syrian food, and what might be the best burger we've had?

Amazing 👏 The Moroccan cuisine is a set of all types of savoriness, has various aromatic flavors and rich ingredients. I suggest you to visit Agadir City before you leave Morocco. It's a modern and oceanic place that impress all of the tourists around the world 🌎 . Keni (Kenitra) is a small city you may not find a lot of attractiveness there ...although it's easy to be explored in 2 days as max. Greetings from a Moroccan living in China.

@@PureDetour Yeah..Essaouira may be very cheap place with affordable prices for rent, nutrition and transportation. In contrast, Agadir isn't, you'll need to double or triple your pocket budget for an epic tour. However, I miss my country, I wish you could have a great time ahead! Places to visit while you’re in Kenitra: river, beach, the kasbah, khabazar(open market) the military base( i don’t know if you ll get access or not) , the university, maamoura forest and the lake sidi boughaba

it warms my heart to see travel vloggers in my beautiful city of kenitra. glad you enjoyed your stay. there isnt much to do in kenitra since its an industrial city, but there is a lot of history in this city. as a moroccan american myself, i do enjoy a good hamburger, but i never knew that there was a good burger spot in kenitra.

We really like Kenitra as it felt much less touristy than most places we were. Though we did spend most of our time in our airbnb working or else out eating! And try the burgers from Choose Burgers, they are great! Thanks for watching!

You missed Mehdia the sea side in kenitra and the cafés by the river. And the fish port. The municipal market not far from where you were staying ot is similar to the Spanish markets in South of Spain that has butchers fish mongers and vegetables in one place and you can eat there as well. Next time

I miss Morocco. I stayed there a month or a little over a month, and I loved it.

We had a lot of fun there. We were lucky enough to spend just over 2 months but we move slowly so we didn't see everything we want. Next time we'll visit the North to see Tangier & Chefchouen. And to eat, of course

@@PureDetour I spent a lot of time in Fez and in Taza because I had a family to visit there. Next time I go I want to go to Marrakesh.

We liked Fes too. Marrakesh was pretty overwhelming. Nowhere else in our travels were we so constantly approached by people trying to scam us. That was only in the Medina, once outside the walls it was calm and nice, but inside it was constant harassment, made it unenjoyable. You said you visit family in Taza? Maybe if you're more local and speak the language or have a guide they'll leave you alone, but I'm glad we spent time in other cities, because if Marrakesh was my only impression of Morocco it would be a shame, because it's a lovely country with amazing people.

@@PureDetour No I visited a family there, I stayed with them but they were not my family. They were my friend's family and that was the first time I had gone. I did get a little harassment because men like to touch women walking by and I'm freaky about that so my friend hired his best friend who is an MMA fighter to be my bodyguard lol. I really didn't need a bodyguard, I just wanted to have someone stand on the other side of me so I wouldn't get touched. I'm not saying it was inappropriate touching but I don't like anyone touching my arm in passing. I feel energy and I don't like other people touching me without my permission. Taza was the biggest problem because few Americans go there so I think they were just interested. I think if I had not been there with people from the area I probably would have gotten scammers coming around me but I didn't have to worry about that. Now that I know more about the area and the people and I've known many people that live there, I wouldn't put up with any of that scam stuff and I doubt they would mess with me. I also know enough of the language to keep them in their place. 😆

Yes, I think knowing the language would help a lot! We weren't so much worried about getting scammed, it was just the constant trying and it's exhausting to say no 50 times an hour to people. And if you ignore them they keep talking and following. I understand about the touching, I don't like it either, though Geoff isn't a small guy, and he's surly, lol, so people don't try much 🤣

Maaan u got me starving guys Im gonna order some pizza now hhhh, u've tried nothing yet in the moroccan cuisine guys trust me there's so much diverse yummy food out there that u should try like bastilla the sea food one Im just a lover mmhhh really irresistible so good and also the chicken one with almond not really my thing but my family adore it hhh, there's also the rafessa ohw gosh my mouth is aleardy watering hhh, the beef or lamb tajin with caramelized prunes ohw maaa gosh so beauuuuutiful, those are like few that came to my mind which I would definitely suggest to give a shot and Im sure that u're not gonna be disappointed. btw guys has anyone ever told that jeff voice sounds exactly like liam neeson's voice hhh maaan If I haven't seen u while u've been talking I would definitely think that liam is the one who's talking and going after someone lol hhhhhhhh I really admire the guy, anyway really enjoyed the content guys, keep it up, love u.
