I guess you don’t understand the effect of a sword being thrust into your body through your boney chest cavity. In reality the thrust would push the attacker backwards a bit, moving the sword cut out of the danger zone

Interesting to see how the 1st generation of bujinkan instructors filled the 1st generation of western students with complete horse crap. I heard a lot about ishizuka from my teachers, he was always held up as a hard good trainer from the original Japanese students of hatsumi. It’s good now to see the evidence of how poor he actually was and how poor the larping of the bujinkan was even in the early days.
