It's sad how difficult things have become in the present generation. I was wondering how to utilise some money I had. I used some of it for e-commerce business, but that sank. I'm thinking of how to use what's left to invest, but I don't really know which way to go.

most of these strategies and loopholes are better managed by experts and pros in the market, the average Investor on the other hand are left to suffer during a crash.

True. I first came across investing in the market in 2019. Already stashed about $480k in savings then, and the free money from the Government was pouring in, increasing inflation rate. I just got an advisor and kept the money there, just because I didn't want to keep the value of the money depreciating in the bank. Tbh, it's the best investment decision I've made since then.

Biggest financial mistake I ever made was with my 401k. My company had a Roth 401k when my kids were in college, but I didn't actually start contributing until year 3 of the 6 years I had kids in college. Because I was helping them with expenses, I was entitled to the tax credits, so my effective tax rate was extremely low. That is the time you NEED to be in a roth! i still retired with about $350k in my 401k.

I totally agree; I am 66 years old, recently retired, with approximately $1.2 million in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, I didn't do all this alone, but with the help of a financial advisor. Having one is currently the best way to trade in the stock market, especially for people nearing retirement.

I am trying to avoid making any new buys at this point in other not to get sucked into a bear market trap.It's tough making money in stocks when institutional investors are the driving force behind the selling.. although I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist?
@HildaBennetАй бұрын
You’re right! The current market might give opportunities to maximize profit within a short term, but in order to execute such strategy , you must be a skilled practitioner.

Yes. It is very easy to buy in on trending stocks but the problem is knowing when to sell or hold, which is why a coach is important. I've been in touch with one for about a year now and although I was initially skeptical about it, I will say I've made more progress within a year generating 6figure profit

You are omitting the so-called in Philosophy: "All-Encompassing Individuals" (popularly known as "Renaissance People"). What's advice for them? Follow the "broad line" (yours), but it's better not to go into own business, because there you need to focus and work on one thing. And of course, find a wise and honest company (with a wise/honest president-owner) where you will be paid adequately. It's not that easy at all (there are a lot of cheaters and populists- of course it depends on the country; scientific research shows the truth ;). But of course you said: "My 33 Years of Business Mistakes". I just added from my experience/ knowledge ;)

I lost over $80k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Charlotte Miller.
