Kenmore/Frigidaire 417 Washer Pump Replacement

@snugzandme1 The machine is connected to a kitchen sink. There is an attachment that protrudes from the drain pipe of the sink where you attach the drain hose to. The connecting point was clogged with lint that had accumulated throughout the years. It is pretty easy to remove it and scoop out all the blockage, then re attach. If your hose goes into a pipe on the wall, just pull it out & snake it to remove any clogs.

I had a sock go down between the washer basin and the pump and get caught up in this black funnel-like hose. I have no idea how it got down there!

The hose on the left hand side leads to your drain. A lot of the time they get clogged with lint, causing drainage issues.
